This one is strictly for the adults :cool1:

I'm aiming to start a Happy Hour Super Thread here if possible. If you'd like to contribute, please consider sharing one or more of the following to help your fellow travelers find a soothing beverage on a hot Southern California afternoon:

- Your favorite happy hour restaurant within walking distance or resort transit of the parks (i.e. Downtown Disney, other local establishments, and hotel bars)
- The hours your favorite happy hour runs
- Favorite appetizer or beverage (pictures are a plus!)
- Happy hour menu from your favorite restaraunt
- Non-happy hour restaurant with great cocktails and apps

I'll kick thing off with a few of my wife and I's favorite spots to break for a cold beverage and in the afternoon before heading back into the parks :drinking1

Has anyone been to the Alfresco Tasting Terrace? Their wine flights look really nice, especially the Perfect Pinots.

In December my BFF and I "drank around the world" in Downtown Disney. Started at Tortilla Joes for margaritas, went across the walkway for hurricanes at Ralph Brennan's, and then made our way to Trader Sam's for some tiki drinks! Definitely a fun way to spend an evening when the parks close early! :drinking1

Yep I have been to the Alfresco Tasting Terrace. I enjoyed the Terrace this past December when I visited the resort for just one day. My mom and I found the terrace about 7pm and had two very delicious glasses of wine while enjoying the view of all the neon lights in Carsland. I had a lovely dry Rose and she had a Sauvignon Blanc. The wine list was solid (many good choices and a knowledgeable cast member doing the pouring behind the counter), and they also offered a few menu items. We had the cheese plate which was very nice. I am planning a return visit this July with my husband. A glass of wine really is so welcome after a long day of fighting the crowds. Wonderful way to take the edge off.

I like this idea, Jammyjam! DW and I love Trader Sam's too. Last time we were there (I believe it was a Friday night), they had live Hawaiian music outside. Almost--just almost--felt like we were actually in Hawaii :beach:

We actually ran into a couple who did that at Epcot when we went earlier in May. I don't know if my liver could handle that though lol.

My 3 favorite libations are:
Vodka Pomegranate Limeade from the Cozy Cone
Tequila Daisy from CCT
Magical Cocktail from Cove Bar

I am putting all three of these on my list! I have no idea what a Magical Cocktail is but it sounds wonderful LOL!

My favorites are:

Cove Bar:
Pina CoLAVA
Pimm's Punch

Trader Sam's:
Piranha Pool
Ka-Blue-ie

Anyone know how crowded the Carthay Circle Lounge is just before the park is closing? We were hoping to grab a drink there after WOC in July. Does it stay open later than the park? What's a good strategy? Last time we were there it was pure chaos trying to get a table in the lounge in the late afternoon.
