Hello everyone! We just came back from a 4 night stay at CBR and we LOVED it!!! We stayed here back in 2003 and this was our first time back to this resort as we usually stay deluxe. I must say everything about this resort was amazing. We were in building 32, (Trinidad North which I believe was a preferred location) room 3248 which was a corner room, top floor at our request. The location was perfect for our family...steps to the quiet pool, which we used twice a day and loved it, and also about a 3 minute walk to the food court and main pool. The food court did get quite crowded at times (especially breakfast), but we never had problems finding a table inside or out. The food choices were good and plentiful and the food was very tasty. Hubby's favorite were the fresh omelets for breakfast! The main pool was busy and we did not visit there only because DD is 16 and we were very busy for our short stay there. We booked a bounce back for 4 nights in September and requested the same location and hope to use the main pool then. I also wanted to comment that the room furnishings are beautiful, beds are super comfy and room was spotless!! Mousekeeping was wonderful and all the workers we came into contact with were super friendly and helpful. Every area of the resort was also immaculate!! I am so glad we tried this resort again and would recommend anyone wanting to try a moderate to try CBR, you won't be disappointed!!!

17 Days until we will be there! I can't wait. It is still a surprise for DS as it is his graduation present. He will find out about the trip at graduation but my mother and I decided last night that we will make his graduation party (2 days before we leave) a PotC theme (suggestions??), since we are staying in a pirate room. I hope he is excited as I am!!

I am glad to hear of the positive feedback. Thank you! Glad you had a great time! I am staying at CBR for the 1st time. I was little nervous since I have been reading some negative reports. I can't wait!! Will be there in 102 days!:flower1:

This review makes me smile. 173 days until check-in.

I got PIXIE DUSTED!!!! They went to the resort manager and asked if they would "overbook" the free dining for me so I could have the extra night! I love CBR!!!!

This was after losing my resort reservation while trying to check last night...and the a CM on the phone yelling at me and telling me I only had RO booked! I talked to guest services and they called CBR and made an exception. I'll be there Sept 3rd to the 12th now!!!!!!!!

Awesome news! Good for you- it always pays to ask.

On the bus to Epcot! Monkey cupcakes are either vanilla or chocolate cupcakes with a sliced banana and cream filling. The icing is peanut butter flavor with a chocolate sauce on top.

Chocolate please :) I am TOTALLY getting one of these things the minute we arrive!

Lisa, what camera do you use for your posted pics? I am conflicted. I have NEVER gone to any disney park (heck, i rarely leave my house) without my big 35 mm dSLR Canon. It takes superb pictures.......but quite frankly, it is bulky. And it's biggish. And did I mention it gave me tennis elbow? So while I want fantastic pictures, I'm keen on taking a relaxing twist on this coming vacation. I DO have a point and shoot Canon. It zooms. It isn't my preference. I'm trying to talk myself out of taking my dSLR. So, what camera do you, or anyone else here for that matter, take to WDW? We recently returned from a 3.5 week European vacation and I was SHOCKED at how good people's cell phone pictures looked!

I am so sorry. :( Next time you just book the xtra. You can always cancel the xtra day when you decide what your touring plans are.

Just an FYI you can no longer take days off reservations so this wouldn't work either. Now they will only allow you to drop days if an entire new reservation is available. This change has been discussed elsewhere and is fairly new.
