How Many Times Did I Meet Pluto This Trip? A Dec Solo TR - New TR Link 11/30!

Well that's it. Your family should be horsewhipped for NOT appreciating Figment the way we do. Seriously, how could they not? About the FP+ on this ride. Let me tell you that we had the complete opposite experience. We did NOT have FP+ the first time and got in standby. The wait was 20 minutes! And the FP+ line had a lot of people, all of who were getting on while we waited. I can't believe you didn't realize prior that Figment flitted through the screen in the line.

I always stop for Marching Bands. I appreciate the work the kids put in. And, yes, you are right...I don't think we knew that about you.

Love how they decorated The Land attraction for the holidays.

Living with the Land is one of my favorites--I have no idea why but I just love it :) Last time we were there for Christmas, the only decorations were that little snow/sand man and the rosemary xmas tree. I love how they wrapped the garland around those boring white pipes!

I always have to stop for marching bands, too!!! I'm always in the mood for a parade :) Truth be told, I always wanted to play the flute and be in a marching band but my Mom and Dad said it was too expensive....instead they let me take up piano lessons. When I ended up sticking with it, I think they regretted not letting me get the nice small flute instead of the giant piano we ended up with :rotfl:

Oh my goodness, I can't help but chuckle at your predicament at Figment. It's easy to get annoyed by it, but when this happens to me, I just can't help but find the humour in it. It always reminds me of Mr Bean on a staircase in one episode who got behind some older folks. As long as I think of that, I just laugh.

That said I tend to ride Figment maybe once every ten or so years, lol.

Wow, I don't think I've seen a Marching band anywhere but Magic Kingdom. That's pretty cool.

Once I entered the Land building, I realized I still had some time till my Soarin’ FP+. LWTL only had a 10 minute wait and I do love that ride so I got in line.

Yup, I am convinced that LwtL is the part of the queue for Soarin'.

Up until a year ago, I had never ridden Figment (I know...) so I made a FP for it so I'd HAVE to ride it and the same thing happened to me! Except, this person was in a scooter. But apparently there's a recurring theme happening here. :lmao:

I'm sure I lack any and all talent that it would take to play an instrument, I was always a chorus person myself, but I love hearing marching bands! I just think there's something so exciting about them and I have a lot of respect for people who can do that!

Your pictures of Living with the Land came out great!

Figment is a cute ride! We always enjoy it! And I'm glad you got so much time to enjoy the queue!!

Living with the Land is one of my favorites. I love the holiday decorations - the sand snowman and the tree are great!

I like Figment. It's a cute ride and I totally agree about Captain Eo.

Great pictures of the band and LwtL.

I don't know but i suggest a stylist in the next couple of years??? LOL

:rotfl:

I LOVE FIGMENT!!! I will continue to ride it as many times as i possibly can!!!! that little purple dragon has a huge place in my heart!
Too funny with Capt E... I have to agree.. once is enough for ANYONE.

Me too! I don't know what my families problem is. I can understand them not liking the Ellen ride but Figment is a classic!

Yep, no desire to see Captain EO again. Jim on the other hand loved it. :confused3 Of course he is still stuck in the 80s so that might be why.

i am going to stop posting until your done now... LOL!!!

LOVE LWTL! and great pictures!!! can't wait to see it all decked out christmas!!

The Christmas stuff on LWTL is subtle but very pretty. They just add a few little touches here and there.

I love figment and try to ride it every time but wouldn't wait more than probably 10 minutes. Living with the land is a favorite of mine I am always fascinated with the plants they have.

I honestly have never seen Figment with much of a wait except for one time when it had been down all morning. Even then we still only waited 15 minutes.

Glad you were able to see Figment after so long!

Love Living with the Land!

I really did miss Figment so I was glad to ride it. LWLT is one of my favorites too.

:rotfl2: Yep they definitely need horsewhipped! No idea why they don't like it but we always skip when I'm with them.

I guess I never noticed Figment in the screens because I've always walked straight onto Figment. The only time I've ever waited for it was right after it had been down for a few hours. And then it was still only 15 minutes.

Yep, serious band geek here. ::yes:: I didn't keep up with playing after college but I still enjoy watching the bands.

I'm the same way with LWTL, love it but not quite sure exactly why.

I almost played flute but I didn't like the fact that I couldn't see my fingers while playing and that it had so many buttons. :lmao:So I went with the trumpet, fingers right in front of my face and only three buttons to push! I was the only girl in the trumpet section up until my senior year in high school.

Awwww, your Mr. Bean reference made me think of my Dad. He loved Mr. Bean so much!

Uh Oh, better start riding Figment more often or Kathy is going to horsewhip you! :rotfl:

That wasn't the last Marching Band I saw in Epcot that week.

It does seem like LWTL is an extension of the Soarin' line. Especially in the mornings, I've seen the LWTL line stretch all the way back to the start of the Soarin' line!

Must be a recurring theme at Figment! And I'm glad you rectified your lack of Figment!

And I'm the opposite, found playing an instrument pretty easy but got kicked out of the fourth grade choir because I was so bad. I'm one of those outtakes on American Idol for sure! But at least I know I'm bad unlike a lot of the ones that go on the singing shows.

Living with the Land is one of my favorites. I love the holiday decorations - the sand snowman and the tree are great!

It is a cute ride and I love it! I'm one of the crazy ones singing along with the whole song (which is a scary thing, see my answer to the poster right above).

The Christmas decorations were very cute in LWTL. I love that Disney does those little touches.

I like Figment. It's a cute ride and I totally agree about Captain Eo.

Great pictures of the band and LwtL.

Captain EO is just so weird but for some reason my DH loves it. I have a feeling I'll be seeing it again someday if he goes with me and it's still there.

So before I get to the next update, I thought I would share a package I got in the mail. Jim and I have some friends that moved to France a few years ago. Well, they just recently made it to Disneyland Paris and sent me some souvenirs.

I got a magnet, a tin of candy and a Pluto pen:

A Disneyland Paris shirt which unfortunately is way too small on me.

She also sent me some park maps which I poured over and even included the original bag. Not sure why the map picture is showing upside down for me?

It was a fun surprise getting the stuff. Now I'm just waiting for her to send me some pictures. She told me she took over 1500!

Now onto the next update...

I’m Peter Pan and I’m a Power Ranger! Part 1

When I finished with LWTL it was time for my Soarin’ FP+.

I ended up in the third row towards the end which wasn’t ideal but I still enjoyed the ride immensely. I love this ride so much that I still get goosebumps whenever I hear the music. I’d probably ride it over and over again if the line wasn’t so long.

My last destination before heading to my lunch ADR was The Seas.

The wait time for Nemo said 20 minutes and I was regretting my FP+ choice for Figment even more. But the line really wasn’t that bad and I was on in less than 5 minutes. Of course there has to be some line photos first.

Moving on to the ride photos.

Another attraction I had not made it too in over a year was Turtle Talk with Crush. Once again the wait time said 20 minutes but I only waited 5.

The kids were hilarious this time as one by one they keep forgetting their questions. One little kid just said that he was Peter Pan. The next one said he was a Power Ranger which prompted this reaction from Crush.

I do love that show since it is different each time depending on the kids’ questions.

While I was in the show, my cell phone had vibrated. I checked it afterwards and it was my husband Jim calling. I knew he wouldn’t call me unless it was important so I stepped outside of the Seas building to call him back. It’s quite loud in that building plus cell phone reception is awful. It turned out he was just having a horrible day at work and needed someone to talk to for a few minutes.

After he finished venting to me and we hung up, I headed back in the building to check out the aquarium.

There was a diver in the big tank. I believe he (or she) was cleaning some of the coral.

I’m Peter Pan and I’m a Power Ranger! Part 2

I was of course on a search for my favorite guys, the sea turtles, but the only one I found was in a weird place and this was the best picture I could get.

I headed back downstairs to the room with the tanks and walked around in there for a bit.

I found Dory and Nemo!

I have no pictures at all of the Manatees which is very unusual for me. I’m not sure at this point if the area was closed or just super crowded and I couldn’t get near.

Up Next: Now it’s Time to Eat the Fishes

Love the Paris stuff you got! Disneyland Paris is one of my dream destinations.

I haven't been on soarin since 2012 hopefully I can get back on in 2016. I also love the seas with nemo and the aquariums. All of the different fish are just so interesting to me.

The Paris items are so cool! Love the magnet, I'm sorry the shirt didn't fit you though.

I agree, I wish Soarin was always so crowded because I would love to ride it multiple times!!

HAHA I love the pic of Crush with his hand to his head- so funny.

Great pictures of the tanks!

I love your collection from Disneyland Paris! Although the souvenirs are great, I think I would be most excited about the maps! :thumbsup2

I always enjoy wandering around the seas. It's not usually insanely crowded and it's always cool in there on a warm day.

first off i LOVE the title to the next installment! HA HA!

Hope Jim was OK. your camera did a great job on the ride and with crush!!!

OMG the pluto stuff from Paris is out of this WORLD!!!! so sweet of them!!!

Great update, Ariana. Love your gifts from Disneyland Paris.

Love Soarin'. I always ask for front row and they are always accommodating.

I think the walk through the queue is at least ten minutes long at Nemo so they weren't far off on the wait time. ;)

You got some awesome pictures of the fish...great job.

I know where you are eating. :)

What great gifts from Disneyland Paris!

I agree with you on Soarin'! If I could I would ride over and over again. I love to listen to the music at home - I can almost smell the oranges!

I'm glad Nemo and Turtle Talk ended up having short waits. They were big hits with our boys. Turtle Talk is really a fun show!

Great aquarium pictures!

Between Living with the Land, and the aquariums at the Living Seas, I could spend an entire day just there.

Love all your fishy pictures :) I really like lingering around and watching the tanks. So relaxing, I almost forget there is magic out there to explore!!!
