Did someone say scotch?

Come to think of it, where might be a good place to sit and enjoy a bit of scotch in Disney?

Welcome!

We've enjoyed some good scotch at Mizner's Lounge at the Grand Floridian....they have a decent selection, however, I'm not particularly fond of the environment and the minimal staff.

I had a nice one at the Top of The World Lounge following the Patriots SuperBowl win.

Just throwing that out there.

Pretty much anywhere it's legal or you where you won't get caught.

Just throwing that out there.

Then you probably drank too much of it.

Oh, wait. You said "throwing that out there."
I thought you said "throwing that up, out there."

What do you think, a couple bottles of scotch?
.

I prefer bourbon.

I hate to break it to you, but it's not just in Kentucky.

I was hopeful there were decent candidates out there somewhere.

So, what's your take on deflatergate? I read the executive summary of that report, but not all 297 pages. I think the world (outside of Boston) already knew the Patriots don't follow league rules. Now, the Patriots aren't going to appeal the decision? I'm guessing Brady still will? Will the Saints appeal since they got crushed in Bountygate? At least the Championship games are over and the suspension is meaningless.

Also, Hinch went in for surgery on his upper left thigh and will not race.
Apparently, his car had a broken right front rocker arm which caused the crash.
Scary stuff. It sounds like it could have been much, much worse for him if they safety crew hadn't responded as quickly as they did. Those guys do a great job. I hate to see something like this happen to any of them, but especially a guy like Hinch.

Pretty high up there.. .Would be ugly if it went over the edge of the balcony...

Well the Saints players did appeal their suspension, and they were all overturned, so I'm not sure what you're getting at...

As for my take, sounds like the Pats did something wrong. Not enough evidence, by any means, for the punishment, but they're the best team in football so they should expect to be held to a higher standard. Every team in the league breaks rules at different times, the fact that this one got blown up as large as it did is really just a factor of how good they are, and continue to be; everyone (outside of their fanbase) hated the cowboys in the 90's, Yankees in the 90's etc. No different, comes with the territory.

Sounds like there was a lot of bleeding and he lost a lot of blood. Glad to hear he's ok.

You were drunk... and high?

I don't know if it would be ugly.... but it would be funny! :lmao:

Being stabbed is not something a driver expects I would think.
Hope he gets well soon.

Good morning! Looks like a nice comfortable day ahead of us in Maryland today.

I am. But sports in general were never my focus. I'm more of a computer geek.

Kind of the same for me, until I moved to Maryland. I've been the only Baltimore fan in the clubhouse, so I get clobbered a lot. And I am just a general geek.

The Saints players had their suspensions overturned, yet the HC was suspended for the season? The D Coordinator fired? The fans certainly paid for the non-competitive advantage the league provided, but I doubt they were reimbursed when they were overturned. We both agree that deflatergate was non-sense. If the organization did nothing wrong, then why were they penalized? I do think it is funny how the Patriots referenced the guy as the deflator because he wanted to lose weight, but disappointed that we accept a culture of cheating in sports.

'Morning all...
Got'a get through one more day of work before I'm out'a here.
of course, it had to be this week that someone else in the office decided to resign with only a weeks notice and we all have to learn and take on various parts of that job. Yeah right... Like I can focus, concentrate and pay attention to that kind'a garbage right now.

Typical, typical, typical...
