Next trip is November 2015' who's going us?

We are going from Nov 13th-Nov 20th and staying at Caribbean Beach again! My boys love it there!

I paid off our November trip yesterday with Gift cards. Yeah for 0 debt and fuel perks!

So where are we all eating for Thanksgiving? :mickeybar

Interested to hear! I make my ADR's on the 24th and right now I'm deciding between TH in AK or Grand Floridian Café. I really wish the Thanksgiving menus were published already but last year they weren't out until late Sept. or Oct. So, I'm going by the restaurants that had special Thanksgiving menus last year and I've also read some threads from people who went last year.

DH and older DS want traditional T-day food; younger DS and I don't care.

Hey November friends! My ADR day is tomorrow. I have never chosen my park days/or done my ADR reservations myself. My TA is not getting back to me on park day recommendations. Any thoughts on these 11/10-11/17
Arrival night: 1900 park fare
Wedn: Epcot lunch akrersaus dinner Teppan edo
Thur: Xmas party with 4:00 crystal palace
Fri: HS ohana dinner
Sat: MK BOG dinner
Sun: AK tusker house before park opening
Mon: MK BOG lunch
We also have park hopper which we have never had before. Should I utilize it?

Have you looked at easywdw.com? You'll find the recommended park days there, Josh's site is great and always spot-on. Then you can decide if you want to tweak your schedule at all and change some days around.
Off the bat, again w/o knowing the recommended parks for those days, the only thing I'll say is that if you're going to do 2 TS meals on that Wed. make sure they're spaced out enough so you're hungry for dinner! As for the PH we always get it and always utilize it. If you're paying for it, it just makes sense, right?

OK I just looked at Josh's site. Wed. the 11th EPCOT is a recommended park; Thurs. doesn't matter since you're just doing the party, right? Fri. the 13th HS is recommended. Sat. the 14th only AK is recommended; however, Sun. MK is recommended so maybe you can switch those days, go to AK Sat. and MK Sunday? Monday the 16th MK is the only non-recommended park, but I can see if you want to go there on your last day :goodvibes Between having FP's and a good plan, and especially if it's only to revisit favorites, you should be fine.
I still suggest looking at easywdw to figure out how you want to PH. Good luck with your ADR's tomorrow!

I need to find that list for the dinners from last year

I googled "wdw restaurants with thanksgiving dinner 2014" lol and a list came up with the ones that had it. But like I said it didn't have the actual menus, when you click on the restaurant it takes you to their regular menu. The page (can't remember the website now) also says at the top "2015 not available at this time".

I used the search function on here and put in tons of different things to find old threads on the subject from 2013 and 2014. Things like "where to eat on thanksgiving" "restaurants serving thanksgiving dinner" thanksgiving meals 2014", whatever came to mind! Read some good stuff. It was on one of those threads that I found out how late the restaurants serving thanksgiving dinner were announced in the last couple years. And a couple people in those threads did give specifics as far as what foods certain restaurants had, although that of course can change. I know even the restaurants can change each year but at least it gives me an idea.

November folks SWA listed their flight schedule for remainder of the year!

Can't get over how volatile the price/points are.
I woke up - checked flights texted DH - and an hour later I went to book - in that time my return flight increased by 3,000 pts! 18,000 extra points for 6 of us because I waited - but I feel a little better because I just checked now and it's up another 3,000+ pts!

I did the same thing you did. Because the day to reserve a spot is coming up soon is why I am stressing at picking out a good spot. I don't really need the traditional food, yeck we are anything but traditional, since we are skipping going home to family yet again. I wanted to do something magical since it has been so long since we have been. So I am okay with not having turkey and dressing.

I hate that about your flights. Getting a good deal is getting harder and harder.

we're going Nov 8 to Nov 12. We originally were going to leave on the 11th but the flights on SW were so high that day that we decided to stay another night. Now the only problem is that I have BWI with a bounceback for the first three nights and when I called to add a 4th night, they had nothing available at any of the Epcot resorts. ughhhh…I'm sure it's because of F&W. Don't really want to change resorts…I wish there was a way to see the availability online for a bounceback

Booked for Dec 6th - Dec 12th but . . . considering moving to Nov 15th - Nov 21st . . . need some feedback!

DH and I will be visiting during the holiday season, which is the first time for us at this time of year. We're already having second thoughts about our dates ; I'm not usually this indecisive, but never having visited at this time of year I need to do a little more homework.
For you November folks, if you have visited the world at this time of year before, can you tell me some of the pros, and cons, to help us decide?
Here is what I'm thinking for November:
  1. lower crowds (at least predicted week before Thanksgiving vs first two weeks of December)
  2. better chance of milder temps than mid-December
  3. decorations should all be up - am I right in having read that correctly on other posts?
  4. Food & Wine festival ends on Nov 16th, so we'd be able to experience that for the first time too
  5. Free dining: although we're currently booked at a value for Dec. (Pop), we only want counter service, we don't want to be tied down to table service this trip
I know there may be more discounts coming out for December sometime over the summer (if past history repeats); I'd prefer a RO discount over the free dining, but the waiting game stresses me out!

Can anyone give me any more tips for November that I should consider??? Thanks!!!:)

I loved the week before thanksgiving last year, I would caution you to follow those crowd guides or you could get burned bad. We went to Hollywood studios on sunday last year and it was a nightmare

11/14-22 here at AKL! Did my dining reservations--or should I say--TRIED to. NOTHING is left. Can't even get into Boma, and I'm staying at AKL! Forget Epcot and everything else. It's all sold out... It is going to be *crowded*. Some of it is from Free Dining, but that was around the last two years also, and I have not seen dining this hard to get since 2000-2001 myself.

I am also surprised I can't get anything for Boma. I thought for sure that would have been an easy ADR to get. I read on another thread that a CM told someone that the Epcot Restaurants during Nov 14-30 have no or limited availability right now because they are waiting to get an official date on the Candlelight Processional. Once they release the dates supposedly more times will be released for the restaurants.
