Aria did great! She's sacked out asleep in my arms right now. We've watched Frozen and Planes. Planes was sort of silly, but I was half asleep myself, so maybe I missed something there. Typing with one hand and autocorrect is not my friend. Thank you again, everyone, for all your kind thoughts.

We stayed CL at the YC last summer right after they introduced the cart. It didn't bother me that much. I know some have posted getting attitude when asking for wine and beer. We didn't experience that ourselves. One CM knew I was dumping the contents of my glass in a to-go cup and could not have cared less.
Good news!!

Just popping in out of excitement... 8 weeks to go until we arrive at the world and 9 weeks until our first BC CL stay!! WOOHOO! Thanks to all on this board for the amazing information. I am beyond excited for our stay!

Getting ready to head to airport for a few weeks at Jeanne's ... doubt I'll be on the boards too much. She keeps me pretty busy grading papers, etc. I'll be back at the Beach Club on the 24th!!

Have a wonderful trip Teena :)
Funny how we mothers of teachers can spend a lot of time grading papers no matter where in the world we live lol
Enjoy :)

That's the truth. She mailed me a box of papers a few weeks ago. I graded for ten hours and then read her the grades to enter into the grade book. Then I mailed them back by media mail to save money.

I'm back at work this morning after an awesome 4 nights at BC. We got a check-in pixie dust upgrade from a standard view room to a CL suite (1501)!! The room location was great; it was right next to the "secret entrance," and close to Epcot. I was hoping for a refurbished room, but I'd definitely rather have the suite.

Have a fabulous time Teena!! Jeanne and Lily are very lucky to have you in their lives!

Tried to stop in to see you yesterday to say hi and thank you for all the helping here but you weren't there! So it will have to be electronically! Thanks and have a nice trip!

Sitting on our balcony right now we are above the entrance so it is a little noisy but ok. Kids are still sleeping (thank god) after a late night at Fantasmic! The first time we have taken them. They really loved it and I was amazed that even with how crowded and long it took us to get out of there we still only waited 5 minutes for a boat back. (No way my DD was going to make it walking). Relaxing this morning and then heading into MK this afternoon and staying for wishes!

Sat down last night in front of the hubby armed with my notes, and suggested park days and crowd estimates for our trip. Dining day is in 7 days (gasp!) and I wanted to at least get our planned park days set in stone so I could make ADRs.
Needless to say, we didn't get much accomplished. We somehow both ended up with our tablets out looking up menus.

However, I did realize how EASY it is going to be to be able to plan more than one WS dinner this time since we have the ability to just pop over there via boat and parkhoppers in the evening! Yahoooo!!!:sail:

This trip is going to have to be a much more laid back one as I may be recovering from a heart procedure.
But thats okay, we can do relaxed :D

I'm wondering if they're giving more upgrades right now because of the number of rooms under refurbishment.

"Relaxed Disney" is a whole different animal...we have always done "turbo Disney" in the past, but my last two trips have been more mellow, also due to heart issues. (I won't say relaxed because I can't seem to do that entirely) My all time favorite pastime is sliding a chair to the center, and sitting on the depot above the entrance to MK to just look, and smell, and absorb...the people watching from this vantage point is pretty great too!

And having your ADRs planned and made really does remove some of the stress of the visit...you can then just take your time to arrive at your dining or FP+ location...and to tell you the truth, sometimes we didn't even do very many rides...just strolled and enjoyed!

I hope some day DH and I can shift to "relaxed Disney" from "turbo Disney" - but I fear we will need to leave the kids at home to truly get there!!! Don't know where they get the energy....especially on vacation! :faint:

Disney without kids is awesome, but once your kids get older, they'll probably prefer relaxed Disney too:) Our trips are very different from what they used to be! And when the kids are old enough, you can let them go to a nearby park alone if they have extra energy to burn...it's really nice (FYI, my kids are 16 and 11...they'll be 17 and 12 this fall...and I just started letting them go to parks alone last fall...and it was just to MK from GF. When we're at BC, I'll let them go to Epcot and HS, even though they could probably go to any of them now, especially since my older daughter looks like she's 21!)
