Just wanted to give a shout out to the Poly IPO. I sent them my ADRs (including the hard to get Ohana and CG) last week as my booking opened this morning. I still got up early (4:45 am CST) to try and book myself, and the plan was to drop any double bookings based on which time I preferred. So glad I did b/c when I attempted to book them online this morning, the system kept going in circles and I couldn't book anything. I was so frustrated! Then about 20 minutes into it, my reservations (booked by the IPO office) started showing up. Thank goodness, because I was getting nowhere.

Now later this morning, I am able to book through the MDE app, but so glad the CL IPO crew was there in my time of need. So glad we decided to try CL this trip!

I sent the IPOs at GF my ADR requests on Friday and my 180 days opens on May 18th. I have three hard to get reservations (including the allusive BOG dinner) and am hoping they have luck in booking them all! Fingers crossed!

Poly IPO got me EVERYTHING I wanted too!!! BOG, Ohana's, 1900 Park Fare, etc., etc. It was sooooo nice not having to worry and stress. I just woke up to an email with all of my reservations.

I hope you get everything that you want too!!

Woo-hoo! I love hearing this! I am usually the type to want to control everything and the only other time I stayed CL I still did my own ADRs. This time I decided I was just going to let the IPO book everything and I'm not even going to stress.

Our ADRs requests sound similar! Except we are not doing Ohana's this trip but I am trying for CRT breakfast. Honestly, I'm not too excited about CRT but figure I should finally give it a shot, at least once. Plus, it will get me into the park early if I get the ADR!

I also have Narcoossee's, which I didn't realize was hard to get but the IPO said it can be, but should be do-able at the 180 day mark.

Fingers crossed my IPO has the same succeess as the Poly folks who got your ADRs!!

Woo-hoo! I love hearing this! I am usually the type to want to control everything and the only other time I stayed CL I still did my own ADRs. This time I decided I was just going to let the IPO book everything and I'm not even going to stress.

GF IPO is top notch!! I am sure that you will be able to get all of your ADRs..another nice thing that they will do is...if..they are not able to secure a particular ADR that you have requested...they will check it for you daily until your arrival day...We have gotten those elusive BOG ressies that way twice on trips that we booked under 180 day mark...

Is the email IPO sends out from a "central" location, or is it Resort Specific? Does everyone sign it "Mark"?

Tried getting 4th fp by texting and they could not get me the two I asked for because they said they were all done for today. That was at 11:30. I thought they might have access that I didn't. Tomorrow I'll try less popular attractions.

After reading so many reviews on everyone's luck with getting all their choices I really wasn't worried, when my plane landed and I checked my email I was shocked that I didn't get three very important choices. I was told I was on waiting list that checked everyday, but I also checked everyday while on vacation and I found all three of my choices, I called the IPO and told them and all they said was they would take me off the waiting list. I also wanted to book a tour they said wasn't available, I just hope this isn't a sign of things to come.lol

That sounds bad on several levels!!! Sorry to hear they weren't helpful getting your ADRs and tour. That seems crazy that one of the tours would be sold out 180 days out!

I saw a thread about IPO and FP+ - what is the newest information regarding what they can and can't do for the stay at CL?

We checked out of AKL this afternoon and switched to SoG for the remainder of our stay. I LOVED the food offerings and CM Sam hands down made our stay magical. (Chocolate Covered Strawberries!)

I loved the food offerings. They all had a hint (or more) of spice and the chef preparing the evening appetizers right there was an experience in itself.

My only complaint would be room size. It seemed smaller even than WL. Moving to a room almost twice the size made leaving easier though! However, where else do you wake up each morning and go to sleep each night to views of zebras and giraffes!

CL has always been included in the past fall RO discounts...that's how we've always booked our fall break trip, but with all the changes that have been going on, who knows? My guess is that they will include CL again, but they seem to be trying out some lower discount amounts and the resorts that have the lower amount seem to change each season. BC had a good discount in the spring but low in early fall while GF had low in spring but a good discount in early fall. I haven't looked to see if CL is included in the RO discount that just came out because we are going later than October 3rd, so if anyone has seen that CL isn't included in the new RO, please let me know. I do know that Blueskies said CR was one of the ones offering a low RO discount this time, however.

That's the problem...there are too many inconsistencies for me to trust them! I only let them book the less popular ones. When we were trying to get a reservation to CG after the renovation, the IPO actually told me that my chances were better doing it myself! Our trip was just days after it reopened, so people were dying to see the refurb. The IPO told me that he had a list of 200+ people that wanted ressies and that wasn't including all the other IPO offices. I realize that is an extreme example, but the rule still applies... If you fall way down on the list of their reservations to book, by the time they book yours, the ADR you want may not be available! Years ago, we were able to get a last minute reservation to 1900 Park Fare because the manager called the CL concierge when there was a cancellation, but this was before they started the online dining system, so I don't know if they can even do that anymore. Even then, I was told they only had "pull" at the restaurants that were in my resort.
