Post your favourite memories/stories from this forum

Delswife's trip reports.
The one about someone who was living in the middle East (military wife, i think) and she posted photos of the grocery store shelves. They were hilarious.
Someone who described going to a large sporting goods store (don't remember the name) as though it was a Disney trip. Very funny.
The neighbours who dropped off a white paper bag (fast food restaurant bag?) through a window and then drove away. I don't think we ever found out what was going on there.
The annoying co-worker who thought she knew everything and was always hilariously wrong.
The mother in law Christmas gifts.
Also, I remember a thread where people just posted photos of Johnny Depp. I have fond memories of that too.

Two of my all time favorites have already been mentioned- the woman who lost her top on the waterslide and http://www.disboards.com/threads/monster-under-my-drivers-seat-agghhhh.912594/

Dead turtle in the sandbox http://www.disboards.com/threads/do-you-guys-think-my-dead-turtle-ruined-my-sand-taylors-proper-burial-pg11.1534687/
ETA: This poster was good for a lot of laughs , if you're ever bored she's worth doing a search on. Like the thread about her midnight stroll in her nighty with the bug vacuum

I was on this board several years ago. Posted here several months. Couldn’t remember my handle or pw, so I just created a new one. I remember this board being way way busier back then. Maybe the proscription against politics and religion caused a decrease in traffic? Or the new board software? Anyway, still a fun place

Well her signature does state: I'm a fun nut. Thanks pp for the laugh. :-)
I'd love to read about the "midnight strolls in her nighty with the bug vacuum!".

I've always enjoyed the "grossest thing you've seen at Disney" threads. Especially the "baby bidet" water fountain post, sorry, not sure who started that one.

A runner up would be on the budget board when someone asks how to save money. It usually descends into madness quickly, ala the "community cloth".

The "Do they have olives on the cruise ships?" thread.

any and all of JeanFl (I think that's her name, haven't seen her on in ages) posts about her Mother in Law's Christmas gifts...all hysterically funny

These were my favorites, too! The gifts her MIL would give were just hilarious. I think she gave her teenage grandson a Cookie Monster sweater one year. So funny! I miss her Christmas posts.

"Fake a post that would fit in on the DIS", gone but not forgotten :rotfl:

That was exactly my thought! I found myself checking this place 20x a day just to read it. Some of those posts were great!

PS: Start another! :yay:

Here's another vote for the possum in the car (or was it a minivan?). I laughed until I cried. Then I read it to my husband who was also in stitches.

I remember one where the poster 'peeped' coworkers.
The best thing was meeting a great group of ladies who are still friends on fb. Many of us have met in person.

I read a trip report once that really had me laughing out loud. I should have written down her name or the report name..anything!! All I can remember about it was her describing a bumpy car ride in a car no bigger than a maxi pad.

A lot of the posts you guys already mentioned still make me laugh. The one about the lady losing her bathing suit - I still see her around. That post had me laughing so hard, as well as the monster under his seat, and I also enjoyed Delswife's trip reports.

Two of the funniest threads to me were the 'funniest thing you saw at WDW' that included the canned corn, the wheelchair that got away & crashed in Rivers of America, dwarf wars (as they protected Snow White), and so many more. I literally had tears from laughing so hard.

Another one was a poster created by two funny women (took me a long time to figure it out), about an eccentric Brit with her assistant Yasmin. I can't remember the poster, but so many of us took her seriously at first, and "her" posts got more and more outrageous. Again, I was in stitches. She would say things like taking the kids out of the stroller so she could sit in it and be pushed, having Yasmin get on all fours so she could use her as a seat when she got tired. I think she was called something like Dixie Amos. Those posts were hilarious.

Moof was funny, too, in an odd, eccentric way.

@slo I remember your posts.

And Snoopy with her 'what are you wearing' posts.

Then there was the Daily Riddle Thread -- lots of fun!

The budget board threads with the cost saving non-kitchen room recipes. Think iron cooked grilled cheese, coffeepot hot dogs.
