What is your favorite souvenirs from WDW?

I just started pin trading....excited about that! I like to buy the sweatshirts, cause I always use those...beautiful pics on back. And....I have my favorite mug. I also have the mouse head salt and pepper shakers, great conversation starter at dinner parties!

Hi.. With all your Christmas ornaments u got.. R they always available at the shops? Or it only come out during Xmas season? We will be there during the Halloween week so I'm afraid I can't find any Xmas ornament at that time. Thank you

I think there's a Christmas store in Downtown Disney.

My favorite things I got were our Christmas ornament (of course!), and also a necklace I got! It says love, but the O has subtle mickey ears. I wear it all the time, and it just makes me happy.

I also picked up one of the paintbrush pens from AOA (where we stayed), and everyone fights over it when we need to sign something :P

Ive only been to WDW once during the Christmas holidays, so almost all of my ornament purchases have been off-season. I usually get something at Ye Olde Christmas shoppe in Liberty Square in MK (and have them send direct to my room so I don't have to worry about carrying fragile glass balls). My friend always knows that if I've mysteriously disappeared for half an hour near the Hall of Presidents, it's because I'm mulling ornaments in the Christmas Shoppe!

We get a family Christmas ornament and coffee mug every trip. We've also started buying a special pin for our son each trip.

The best thing I ever returned home with were the salt and pepper shakers themed like trash cans from Frontierland and Tomorrowland. Fantasyland and Adventureland were also available but I went with my faves. Every time I set them on the table for dinner I smile. So silly but I love them.

Tee shirts are a must for everyone in the family to comemorate that years trip. The other thing we always get are antenna toppers for our cars. We have a huge collection at home and always buy more when we go. Just recently my DD started getting refridgerator magnets.

We usually keep it simple and get a few Ornaments from the Christmas Store in DTD. That is really our only must get.

I just got that Adventureland can! I keep it next to the stove, and every time I add salt to something I'm coking it makes me smile (I'm weird) and I also find a new mug every single visit, they come out with new designs all the time, and our family uses the mugs, and keeps them on a display shelf in the kitchen so both cute and practical! I also got a super cute 20's style red 'hidden Minnie' felt hat for myself.... I have used that a LOT for going out while dressed 'up' this winter since it snowed just about every day! I love that hat!

Seriously, the mugs are an addiction:rotfl: our last trip we got 3 new ones, and that was holding back on some others we liked too!:bounce: My DH got an Oswald and tools mug, I got a Marie Paris Epcot mug, my ds Got an Oswald old style mug, no wait, 4! We found a cute monorail mug at the outlet "por Favor, etc' so 4 mugs! It would have been 5, but the BEach Club specific mugs that I liked went oos when I stopped back in to purchase one. (like I said, addicted:thumbsup2) But my corner shelf looks so cute with all my fave mugs on it,and I get cute souvie mug from all our travel destinations

The mugs are very tempting. I've purchased a couple since my last trip as a way to keep the magic going until my next visit.

Mine is a little German house that hangs on the wall and predicts the weather. It isn't very accurate, but it is just like one my grandmother had when I was a child and I adore it.

For a more "Disney" like souvenir, I always buy beach towels because we can use them all year long.

My favorite souvenirs are things I can use regularly. Shirt or hat, mugs or water bottles, things that don't sit around and add to my existing clutter. Or artwork, I like buying an occasional print or a very few small decorative things. I did buy a small Stitch plush, though, even though I don't need things like that around. But it was his alien form with the antennae and extra arms and I had to have it. I am weak when it comes to Stitch and when it comes to purses/bags, though luckily I'm not a big fan of the pricey ones like Dooney (so far). ;)

My absolute favorite souvenirs are the silhouettes we had done of our kids twice when they were little. The profiles are an incredible likeness. They do them in Liberty Square now, but we had it done on Main St. I think I paid $17.95 (although it was quite few years ago) and you get 2 sets, each facing a different direction. The artist uses a small pair of scissors to quickly create black cutout pictures that are mounted on an oval matte. It was amazing to watch! You can get the silhouettes done separately, but we had had all 3 done together. We also purchased the frames because I knew I would have a hard time finding oval ones at home. We gave the second copy to my in-laws.

I love looking at them now that my kids are in their 20's. It makes me wistful for the good old days!
