I have come to the point where this is the only message board I frequent. I read a lot on other sites, but this is my only active membership. I used to frequent a lot of comic book and video game forums and such, but those crowds get a bit...intense (something I may have been guilty of contributing to). I like the vibe here. Even when we argue it usually doesn't get too crazy. I don't miss the other forums.

Like BrianL I found too much drama on other message boards so now I just stick with the DIS.

Facebook. I also get the occasional urge to launch what my son calls a Youtube Rampage, where I'll just enter something random and see what kind of music videos turn up, then bounce around that way. I've found four new bands that way.

If I take my trailer to Ft Wilderness, smoke a cigar while drinking a home brew, and look at pictures of my tank then I guess I'll have all my hobbies covered!!

Often I use up so much unplanned time when I go to listen to something on YouTube and wind up clicking all the similar stuff that pops up in the list... "Oh I forgot all about that song from high school!".

Between work, pastoring a small church, and the DIS, I just don't have a lot of time for any other social media outlets other than a few minutes a day on Facebook. When it comes to social media I guess I just live a boring life.

I enjoy cruise critic when I have a cruise scheduled - lots of great info to be found there. And who doesn't love a heated Carnival vs. Royal Caribbean debate!

I watch Bald Eagle nest cams in winter-spring til eaglets fledge. Just this week, 3 different BE nests failed to hatch (severe weather?). Osprey nest cams June-August til fledge. This winter I also watched a Great Horned Owl nest in GA. I just put the cam views off to the side while I'm doing something else on the computer like DisBoards, etc.

Oh, yes! I love the eagle cams. I like the SW FL one and the Decorah nest.
