Fun update! I love paying the trip off, makes it feel like it is really happening!

Did you check to see if any of the discounts that came out yesterday can be applied to your trip?

Discounts came out yesturday? I doubt its any better than the 25%off I already have but its worth looking into.

I got that reminder about the magic bands too! Exciting stuff!!!

Pins...what can I say, one might call me a pin junkie...yes I like my pins. I have been collecting traders since my last trip.

They are fun to collect.

I literally have at least a third to a half Disney Store reusable tote bag full and I still don't think it is enough since I have to share with everyone on our trip. It might be enough for just me lol!

Maybe you should make a pin book out of felt like I did. Might make it easier to store them. You can also get some more on Ebay. DH for this set of 50 for about $25. Just be sure to go through a reputable seller to avoid scrappers.

Are there certain pins that you like to collect?

I like to keep an eye out for the letters and DH likes anything Star Wars related. We also have decided that we want to keep an eye out for the rest of the country mickey heads since we almost have the full set in this batch from ebay. I also want to get pins for every resort I stay at. Other than that we trade for what we like.

It is indeed. There is just something about it that makes the trip feel more real.

Even though the bank account might not like it so much.

Yeah DH went to pay the bills right after the charge hit and had a momentary scare before he realized what it was.

Nice choice on the pins to keep! And you should still have plenty to trade.

Not sure they had discounts available for your resort, but definitely call them NOW! I know when I called Coronado and Caribbean Beach were alternates that they told me about.

I will have to go through my traders to see if I have any you all might like. I like the felt book. I have most of my keepers in small frames that I got at Dollar Tree and just put a piece of black "fun foam" and a piece of cardboard to pin them into. I keep those at my office. I may have one or two here in a bag. If I do, I will take a picture and show you. The traders are just in baggies right now inside the tote. I have bought off of ebay...probably from the same seller that you all used. Most of mine have come from 6 years of finding them at our local Disney Store Outlet. It is a Disneyland Resort Outlet, and they get pins occasionally from there. So I have had some time to collect them lol!

Very cool pins. I am interested in starting pin trading but I was nervous to order from ebay. I am thinking I will give a go. We paid off our trip on Friday and it is such a relief.

This is the second time we have ordered pins from Ebay. Both times it worked out well. Just be sure to order from a reputable seller.

We bought ours from eBay a couple of months ago. There were several I wanted to keep!

There always are a few. Thats why we go with the 50 count.

I love the vinylmation looking ones!

Is there such a thing as too many Disney shirts?




I have a small confession… I may have got a little overboard with getting Little Miss shirts for Disney. Because I didn’t get enough of them at the consignment sales when I saw these on sale at Target and The Disney Store I went ahead and bought a few more. But now she has 2 Disney outfits for every park day and 1 on rest days. And I promised myself (And DH) I won’t buy anymore.

This Olaf shirt just about killed me when I realized it really fits. The only size they had was 5T and while I was glad that it fits her well and I am sure she will get plenty of wear out of it there is a small part of me that cries wondering where my bitty baby went. Remember she’s only 2 1/2!

I also recently found myself some shirts on Torrid that fit nicely. Now I get to join in the fun a bit!

I feel your pain on the getting shirts...I was the same for Zoe only it was swimsuits when they had the swim sale recently at the Disney Store.I had picked up a Frozen one when they first came out for fear that they would sell out before our trip, but bought a few more during the sale. I must stop too.

I LOVE your ones from Torrid. There is a Torrid in the mall by my house. I stopped in there one day, and they told me that they did not carry much of the Disney stuff in the store, but I could try the same profiles on and they would order them. I was going to do that until I found a good price on tank tops (which is what I wear when I am down there) and came up with the idea of "embellishing" them.

Thanks for sharing all the pictures! I can't wait to see Little Miss (and you!) in your outfits! Will hubby wear Disney t-shirts?

Dang! DS is 5 and wears 5T. Well, barely. He's going through a growth spurt though so might as well wait till this one ends so he can wear the new stuff longer than a month. DD turns 3 next month though. She wears mostly 2/3, but has some new pajamas that are 5T though and actually fit.

We have had the hardest time with DH. He has some starwars shirts from Woot that we plans on wearing and I talked him into possibly letting me make him some but we have yet to find decent fitting blanks. He would only do it if I made him though. He's happy to let us girls have our fun without him.

Have I mentioned that Little Miss is in the 99% for height? She is TALL. She may actually reach that 40" mark before the trip. she was at 38.5" last we measured her a month ago. And that is barefoot! I went ahead and got the tad bit thicker shoes for her when licking out her sneakers.

Love the shirts! I have had a problem buying Disney clothes too, I am embarrassed to say how much I have spent at the Disneystore.com. Can't wait to see complete outfits.
