November 2015.....

Hope I can jump in! We're planning for Nov 11-18/19! Should be booking it shortly - we'll add a day later if I can find a good discount (or if the Canadian dollar gets better). :) We've never stayed onsite, so I'm very excited!!

How did the nail polish hold up? I'm thinking it would start to crack. And could you remove it when u got home with polish remover? Just wondering.

It held up perfectly fine!
you can remove it with nail polish but we left them they way they were we still like them! excited to decorate them again this year.
did you find the thread? People have some mad talent in decorating theirs.. i am not that artsy.

Another day closer! It's snowing today :( But yesterday everything was melting and I got really excited for spring. I've started to think about what kind of packing I should do for November Florida weather. I've never been that time of year and it looks like the weather can go from really warm to kind of cool days. It seems like sort of a mish mosh of temperatures. Can anyone here comment on November weather?

Almost all our snow here in NY is melted, and now we're looking at possible snow showers Friday :sad2:

Anyway, we were there late Nov. 2012 and it was chillier than I would have liked. Mid-day was warm enough for t-shirts and capri's or sometimes shorts( nowhere near hot though), but until noon and definitely again by 5 p.m. jackets and sometimes long pants were needed. Kids tried swimming a couple nights and were fine, until they stepped out of the pool lol. On the other hand, I've read reports of Nov. being much warmer so, like you said, a mish-mosh! Doesn't really help you, I know :rolleyes1

Blech, NY here too and I am ready for spring!!!

Just booked our Thanksgiving trip. Yippee

Thanks for responding. I don't care for the heat, so it will be just perfect for me.

I didn't look for that thread yet, but experimented with my old band. I used nail decals from the $ store and cut them into little hearts, then polished it. It looks great, with very little work. I'm going to try removing it today to see whether you can redecorate it, if you make a mistake and want to start over. LOL!

So excited - We just booked our trip for over Thanksgiving! We reserved the WL (woodsview room) from 11/21-11/28. If there are any discounts that come out for any of our dates, we're thinking of doing a split stay :) We have only been to WDW once, mod Nov 2013 and stayed at the Poly. Because of the construction, we were hesitant to book there this time. Unsure of where we definitely want to stay (soooo many awesome choices!) but we had a trip planned for Memorial Day that we had to reschedule til Thanksgiving (ds got the flu and missed alot of time from school & we had alot of snow days as well - so we decided to reschedule for over Thanksgiving ) - our date was coming up quickly that we had to change the reservation so we didn't get charged a penalty fee & everyone on here raves about how beautiful WL is at Christmas, so that's where I booked :)

Looking forward to all the planning and counting down the days!

I love your screen name! Where are you from? We stayed at WL a few years ago during holiday time and loved it! We had a few breakfasts at WCC and enjoyed it so much we plan on having a breakfast there this trip.

Hi! I'm in Northeast PA. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the WL so much. It looks so pretty online, esp the pictures of it done up for the holidays. When are you going? Do you know where you're staying yet? We've only been to disney once- mid nov of 2013 and stayed at the poly. We really liked it - esp being on the monorail line. We ate twice at the GF and I fell in love with it there- am thinking of possibly doing a split stay. I'm really driving myself crazy with making a choice!! lol ;)

We're neighbors, I am in MD. We will be there the same time as you from 11/20-11/29. We are doing a split stay between Poly and AKL.

So cool!! I'm still going nuts trying to decide where to stay. I think we're going to end up w/a split stay, too. Just not sure where yet- but it'll be 2 of the deluxes. Probably one of the monorail resorts (most likely either Poly or GF) and then either WL, AKL or BC. They all have some pretty impressive things going for them (at leats from the online photos & such) it's so hard to narrow down! lol... Have you stayed at any of these before?

Of the ones you mentioned we have stayed at WL and GF.

a friend of mine just wrote a trip report from November 2014. the same dates we will be going this November. THEY WERE ALL WEARING COATS.. like WINTER COATS!
was this year a weird cold for Florida? we went in 2011 and were able to swim during the day and wear a sweatshirt at night it was perfect.

Joining in.... We are staying at CBR 11/10-11/17. Love planning for Disney! My only concern for November is I hope it's warm enough to swim. We have only been in august before and although I'm excited for cooler temps at the parks we really enjoyed our resort swimming.

We are from NY as well, 30's today going to be 20's on Saturday. When does spring start again?"????

When I went the same time in 2010 we did the same as you. It was warm during the day and a little cooler at night. Friends of mine just went in the beginning of January and it was pretty much the same for them. We're also from jersey so we're used to the colder weather but I've always been fine with just a light sweatshirt and capris.

Obviously I am from Chicago. I am used to colder temps.. I hope the days are warm!!

I'm from Alabama, so if it gets below about 65, I'll be the one in yoga pants (that have never been to yoga) and a big hoodie. haha

I'm from southern Ontario (Canada), so I'm hoping it will at least "feel" warm regardless of the temps. I think this past fall/winter was unseasonably cold everywhere (I know it was here).

I think I've found DVC points to rent for our stay! We were planning on the Contemporary, but we can get a 1 bedroom at Bay Lake for over $1000 less by using points. And the 5 us won't have to all sleep in 1 room, yay! I'm just waiting for the booking confirmation now.

Is it crazy that I've already started our touring plans and ADR plans? lol

HA HA HA! Yoga pants are the BEST. mine haven't seen a yoga class either unless you count sitting on the floor Indian style? Hoodies are a necessary part of life.

It was a terrible cold this year.. I am hoping it was just a cold year - this coming November won't be bad!

Nope. I already started a Pre-Trip report for this trip.
