The Murphy's are LIVE from WDW and Kidani! March 21-28 and April 2-5

Oh no! Well that's not fair. You'll have to find some other good treats, maybe ice cream and dole whips! ;)
I am definitely picking up some treats in France. I think that Grand Marnier Ice Pop they have for F&G will be a nice start!

I love your Flower and Garden pics! Beautiful!

Did you stop by any of the outdoor kitchens while you were in World Showcase?

Where is the closest Dunkin Donuts?

And did your son enjoy his meal at Hacienda? That's one big platter of food! ::yes::

Back to the room! :D We had a great night at MK! Now that I've got wifi I'll go back and post pics of our room:

The boys of course RAN to the room and were already comfy before I even got there.

Isn't Kidani great? I remember the first time I stayed here back in 2011, I said it was the best room for the size and value at WDW. :thumbsup2

This looks amazing! What a beautiful blue sky!!!!!

The topiaries look amazing. We were in Epcot at the end of February and they had a lot of them visible, but not all of them were flowering yet. We'll be there in a little over three weeks and can't wait to see them in full bloom. :)

We ate dinner at Hacienda with another couple and we shared the platters. They ordered the seafood platter and we ordered the meat platter. It was all delicious, even the corn. :)

Surprisingly there is a Dunkins only two miles from here! When you pull out of the lodge entrance take a right, go down to the next big intersection and turn right and it's on the left. :)

We didn't stop to eat at any of the F&G food areas because of our ADR at Hacienda, but we did scope them out and they all looked amazing. The longest lines were for shrimp n grits, and gelato, I would have loved to try the gnocchi, maybe we'll head over there Wednesday and do some snacking. :D

Nic really enjoyed his huge platter of food, the steak was his favorite, and he liked the chicken too. He said the sausages were "kind of weird" and I ate his corn, it was phenomenal!!!! I need the recipe for that. Best corn I've ever had. :D

Tomorrow is my birthday! :goodvibes I'm going to cancel our BOG breakfast ADR, I know for a fact we aren't going to be up and out of here in time. But we still have a BOG lunch I'm going to keep. :thumbsup2

It's raining right now, so we're in no hurry to leave our villa. But eventually we'll be heading to the Studios today. Tomorrow is MK again. Wednesday is AK, then Thursday I think we're going to head to US/IOA. :cool2: We have annual passes and feel like we need a little dose of Harry Potter to round out the trip. pixiedust:

LOVING the TR Erika, nothing standard about your villa :) We have a Traverse, I miss my Suburban for the cargo room. However, two trips to Florida so far and she's done well by us! The topiaries are amazing. I can't wait to see them in person...40 days (last minute booking)! Enjoy!

Last minute booking? Yay!

I've been following along. Love all the great pics.:flower1:

Hey everyone :)

We are at the studios. The rain seems to be over and it isn't crowded which is nice. We did our fastpasses for Little Mermaid and TSM. Up next is Star Tours. I was able to get my first "you are here" collectors mug today. Epcot is still sold out of theirs. Tomorrow I can hopefully find an MK one. Annnnndddd tomorrow is my birthday :cake: so I told the boys they have to do everything I want to do. :flower1:

Dinner tonight is Sci-fi. Hopefully that goes well.
I can't believe how stress free and easy this week has been so far. We are sure enjoying it. :cloud9:

I want to collect all the Starbucks mugs. I got the MK one when I was there in Feb. Its so nice to drink my tea in the morning and dream of Disney.image.jpg

Had a great dinner tonight at Sci-fi! :)

And I even got a birthday cupcake :D Today was my first day wearing a birthday pin, the boys said I'm only allowed to wear it the day before and the day after my birthday... not the whole week. ;)

We drove to the park today and actually it was pretty easy. Normally I'm a die-hard bus rider but it was standing room only our last two nights back to Kidani and I swore tonight I wasn't standing. We had a nice relaxing drive back and we're now in for the night. Tomorrow is MK! :cloud9:

Update on my Mom's trip down next week.... After a few days at the Villages to tour more houses we are coming back to WDW. Mom insists on a suite of some sort, she likes her privacy and hates my snoring , so I booked us a family suite at All Star Music. Is this going to be a nightmare?? :ssst: I sure hope not. I really couldn't think of what to book. I suggested a cabin and she didn't like that idea, I suggested two connecting rooms and she didn't like that either. :rolleyes1 I wasn't about to shell out money for a suite in a deluxe resort so this was the best I could come up with. I will give her the room with the queen and I'll take the other room with the sleeper sofa. Boy I hope it isn't too uncomfortable. :scared: We are going to Sea World one day, probably shopping another day, I'm sure Epcot and DTD. Those of you who followed my December report might remember that my Mom likes to rest a lot so I might be able to hit some parks next week solo as well, which I always enjoy of course! :mickeybar
