Found out last week that my sweet husband has planned a surprise 25 anniversary trip for us the first week of May! Ironically, it will be our 25th WDW trip since we were married. Very blessed! We are excited to be staying at the POR as we have never stayed there. We were laughing as sharing last night, if $$ were not an object what would our dream resort be. We came up with...

A Suite at the new Contemporary Bay Lake or one of the Polynesian Villa Suites! What is yours???

My dream would be to stay on the concierge level at the GF.

Call me old, but I'd like to stay at the Contemporary. My wife and I have priced it a couple of times. For our 25th and 26th wedding anniversary, we almost splurged, and for our 27th coming up in September, we have again booked CBR. We ate at GF, Polynesian, BW, and the Beach Club last year on our stay, and although we really liked the BW, we still liked CBR. Disney is one of those places where you can visit the Deluxe resorts and get a meal, see the layout, and then go back to your resort. However, with the Contemporary, we always remember the breakfast buffets with our kids when they were younger and the looks on their faces when Mickey and Donald and Pluto and Minnie came by the tables, and the awe of eating with a tram coming through, and our boys down in the gift shop Christmas Eve at the Contemporary. Probably not as chic as Bay Lake, but we will stay there sometime just because of past memories.

I like to live my dreams but I don't dream that big. POR always makes me feel at home but otherwise I might dream of the GF or AKL.... best room in the mouse house!

We're dreaming of AKL, especially after visiting there for lunch at Sanaa last month. (I told my bf that my bucket list item is to stay there so I can "see the giraffes and tiger horses outside our window every morning when I wake up"). I haven't done enough research yet to decide which location at AKL would be our ideal, yet. But, we're starting to consider becoming DVC members, so that may have an effect on our choice.

AKL in a suite of some sort, overlooking something. I absolutely love the resort and would LIVE there if given the chance. It is the ultimate in relaxation and rejuvenation.

The castle of course. It's the only place that can't be bought directly. I normally stay GF RPC so beyond the Four Seasons (no thanks while at WDW). I can't think of anything above the castle suite.

Probably a 10 day, consecutive split stay with all of my family and extended.
2 bedroom suite at the Contemporary w/Theme Park View and an RV Campsite at Ft. Wilderness.

We'd be a stone's throw away from each other and have a vehicle in case someone wanted to go off property.
