Wine and Dine 2015

What! I was in, hit the payment button, and it told me registration check full, contact customer service to determine status of your registration.
What does "registration limit" mean? I made it all the way to the end and received this message when I hit payment.

Wow! 15 minutes or so then? Crazy.

Makes me nervous now about general registration.

Yeah, no joke ... now to track down the Active link and bookmark it so I'm ready for general.

Don't forget, these early registration slots represent a small number of the total spots - I think I've read it's 10% or something. And IF next week doesn't work out, there are always bibs through Travel Agents and Charities.

Good luck next week everyone! :)

I got the same thing, and that is when it told me to contact them. No confirmation email yet :(
But it does say I am already registered.
Very confused!
And I've been on hold for 10 min already...

Already sold out for early registration, per Twitter! That was fast.

That's crazy, luckily I got in and I was refreshing the link page since like 11:40.I literally finished registering 4-5 minutes ago,if its sold out then if you got on your computer at 12:02 it might have been too late.

In my head I know that's true, but it still makes me worry. Just makes me all the more determined to be at my computer and ready. I have it blocked out as private on my calendar and plan to be in my office behind closed doors. :ssst:

Yes, but there is also probably a larger pool of people signing up during general registration, so the remaining percentage could still go fast.

It just irritates me that some people participate in literally every runDisney race and take up spots, while some people never get to do one. I mean, give some new people a chance! I know travel agencies are a possibility for signing up if it's really important, but it seems more straightforward to be able to register directly.

Oh I get it. It's easy for me to calmly say (type) that now, but I'll be a nervous mess in July when I go to register for the Glass Slipper Challenge...and no joke, when I was registering for Dumbo my heart was racing, my palms were sweating...ridiculous! The things we do for runDisney.

Right, but it's not going to sell out in 15 minutes like it did today.

I wish I had that possibility. But being a teacher means I can't just take the 20 minutes whenever I need it. :(

If you find it would you mind to post it here? I'm never sure how to track those down.

Sure thing. I was able to find the Disneyland Half one pretty easily after early registration closed. Here's hoping for that, too!

I was thinking of going through a Travel Agent, like I did for my DLH registration, but the only way to get bibs right now is with a two-night hotel stay. I don't need the hotel, so I guess I will just have to stress it out. Grrr.

It made me fill out all my info instead of logging in to my active account. Other than that, went smooth for me. In for both the ½ and the 5K.

Still no update on host resorts. Perhaps once general registration opens.

Next step, waiting to submit proof of time on the site.

Then waiting for Southwest to open their booking window for the race.

Knowing runDisney, you can never be sure. Especially since I'm paranoid that there's going to be a lot more demand on Wine and Dine this year now that ToT is not happening. This is the only event for the rest of the year now at Disney World.

I hear you. Luckily my lunch period this year falls so that I've got from 11:55-12:45 free. Perfection.

Really? Is rD supposed to put a cap on the number of their races a person is allowed to run? If a race is really and truly important, people will find a way to enter. If it's not, they'll take their money elsewhere.

I think that you are on to something. I know a few people who prefer the ToT but are running the W&D because the ToT is not available this year.
