Yes they will spend some time in the kids clubs. My daughter didn't get to spend much time in them when we went 2 years ago (Dream 4 days) and told us she wanted to spend more time there this time around.

Since my husband and I didn't get to go to any of the adult areas last time around I plan on her going to the clubs after the shows (we have early dinning) so we can have some time in the adult areas with my sister and her husband.

Hello, I just booked my family's cruise. DH and I cruised the Eastern Caribbean with Royal Caribbean back in 2001, but this time we are bringing along my mother and our two daughters.

Hello,
It's our first Disney cruise!!! So excited! My husband, our 5 kids, and a babysitter/helper, and I will be aboard. I can't wait. We are spending a week at Disney World first (hence the babysitter/help). We live 20 minutes from Disneyland and are annual pass holders. I worked for Disney while I was in college. So I know that place like the back of my hand...but the cruise whoosh! It's a bit overwhelming! So I could use any advise anyone has. Especially with port exertions.

My kids ages at the time of cruising: Jaxon 6 1/2, Sadie 7 1/2, Rylee and Noah 12 old twins, and Madison 17.

Would love to be added to this group. And love the fun gift exchange. Count us in please! Are we to late?

Welcome to our group!! We have also started a FE exchange list so you can join in on the gifts if you want. We won't divide out groups until closer to sailing time so you have nothing to worry about!

Your youngest 2 kids are very close in age to my daughter (7) and my niece (8) (ages at time of sailing)! My sister is going to WDW on the Tuesday before the cruise and taking her daughter and my daughter. Me, my hubs and my brother-in-law will drive down on Thursday night and we are all going to MK on Friday before the cruise. Then that night we are going on over to the port for the night. We also have plans to hit the parks after the cruise.

Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine still managing meet and FE discussions right here on the DIS as they have since FE began (also here on the DIS).

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin with child ages for age appropriate gift giving. Other information you would like to share such as names, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, if no one comes forward to organize a FE for this cruise, anyone can organize the FE right in this thread.

We just moved from another Disney cruise to this one. We would like to join a FE for this cruise. This is our third Disney cruise and we are looking forward to having fun once again! Our group is taking up 2 cabins and they are as follows:

On my last DCL trip I organized an email/texting pen pal list for the kids. With the rules against social media, does anyone know if I would be violating any rules if I were to organize something for this trip? Usually, I have people pm me an email or phone number for texting and I have my oldest send out an introductory text/email to begin the list. If I'm not breaking any rules I would love to organize something, especially since my kids are asking. Of course bullying or harassment of any type will not be tolerated.

There was another lady that was hoping to start something like what you are referring to but she had to cancel her trip about a month ago. My daughter is a little young for "pen pals" (she is only 6 and in first grade) but she has an iPod and loves to facetime with her friends. I don't know if it will violate their new rules for other media outlets though.
