Hi! I'm excited to join this disboards group! We went on the 7-night Western Caribbean on the Fantasy in March leaving out of Port Canaveral, so this will be our 2nd cruise (both Disney) and our first time on the Wonder! Can anyone share their experiences leaving out of Galveston and the weather in December in the Bahamas? Also, I tend to get seasick (but I was fine on the Fantasy) and wondering if anyone can share some insight if you've sailed the Wonder before, since it's a smaller ship than the Fantasy and if the waters are choppy from Galveston to Castaway Cay? I have two kids, who will be 6 and 4 at the time of sailing. Thanks! Looking forward to meeting everyone!

I cannot wait for this cruise! I realize that it is over 15 months away, but hey it is never to early to start working on FE gifts!!! This will be our fourth Disney cruise, but our first on the Wonder. I am counting down the days until we all get to board.

My in-laws just booked this cruise for the entire family to go on! This will be our 6th Disney cruise and 4th time on the Wonder. We cruised out of Galveston in Nov 2013. This will be my in-laws 5th Disney cruise and 4th time on the Wonder but my brother and sister-in-laws families are finally joining us so there will be 12 of us total. I'm extremely excited about another Holiday on the High Seas cruise!

We sailed the Magic last year in the winter, but to Cayman and Cozumel. It was choppy in the northern Gulf, but got better the father south we were. I would guess that it will probably be choppy the first night as we cross east but should improve the more south we go. Will probably be choppy the last night, too. Hope that helps!

Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine still managing meet and FE discussions right here on the DIS as they have since FE began (also here on the DIS).

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin with child ages for age appropriate gift giving. Other information you would like to share such as names, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, if no one comes forward to organize a FE for this cruise, anyone can organize the FE right in this thread.
