Premieres Monday and after seeing the ads I'm excited. Plus confession alert: one minion especially has caught my eye. :happytv:

Same here...looks like it will be good...this and Constantine are the two I am look forward to the most (nice that comicbook tv series are getting serious versions)...but am kind of bummed that DC has it's characters all over the map network-wise so there will be little hope for crossovers.

Of course Gotham is in a much earlier timeline, so I suppose even though some major Batman characters are popping up on Arrow (like Harley Quinn's voice cameo last season, and Ras Al Ghul coming up soon) so I suppose they can cast different actors for some of them without it being too weird.

I assume that you mean Mr. Ben McKenzie. ::yes:: I always liked him in Southland, but I also really liked Southland. I hate that they decided to let it go.

He's one factor but the other is Robin Lord Taylor aka Oswald Cobblepot (the eventual Penguin).

I want to watch it, but I'm iffy about how well it's going to do.

Although Alfred is played by John Pertwee's son, so that's pretty cool.

Excited for the Renee Montoya character. She was always a favorite of mine in the comics.

Bumping post premiere! Besides Oswald (who blew me away acting wise as well as look) I'm curious about Edward (the eventual Riddler).

I just watched the pilot (I wasn't expecting Jada Smith). I really liked it, and with the exception of Iron Man I'm not a comic book fan, so I was pleasantly surprised. In some ways maybe not knowing the comics is a good thing, because I won't be able to compare the two.

But I liked it, I can't wait to see the next one.

I'm not really sure what to think. I like all of thr characters but the whole "Waynes were assassinated" thing flies in the face of Batman mythology.

Part of the tragedy of the Wayne murders was that it was senseless and random.

Quick bump since I'm trying to place one of the actors: has Cobblepot's actor been in anything pre Gotham? I'm sure I've seen him in something before.

I watched this tonight for the first time- it was interesting. My daughter filmed on 2 episodes of this show so I just have to watch to try to spot her now!
