Vienen mis amigos a la Coronado Springs --- A September 2014 Pre-Trip Report

Hey there, hi there, ho there! Why am I back writing a pre-trip report? Oh, I dunno….maybe, just maybe I’m going on yet ANOTHER trip 2 Disney. Yep this will be trip #2 to Disney in 2014! This past March I took my 16 year old daughter Victoria and her (now ex) friend Kali to Playlist Live Orlando 2014. You can check out that trip report in my signature, if you are curious. For those of you who haven’t read it, needless to say it was a less than magical experience and my husband Peter was missing from the trip so that left an empty spot in the trip. It did take some tweeking and begging, but Peter agreed to a family trip in September. :thumbsup2 We had gone in August before and it was so dripping-with-sweat hot that we decided to avoid it at all costs. One other condition of the trip was that we must have the Free Dining promo that usually comes out for the Late Summer/Fall season. Ok, I can live with those conditions --- that makes September the month to go. :woohoo: Then began the waiting for Free Dining….and waiting…..and waiting….tick, tock, tick, tock. By this time as well my 180 day window for ADR’s had since passed. Great! I was thinking Free Dining with no availability at any restaurants was what we were going to end up with. Knowing that I could book ADR’s without having a ressie in the books, I went ahead and did just that --- at 160 days out. It’s ok, though, as I got everything I wanted. Ok, well, maybe I didn’t get an ideal time for Chef Mickey’s (our ressie is for 7:15am on September 19th --- our departure day and our flight isn’t until 3pm or so), but I keep looking every day for something later. :confused3

During the wait for the promo I joined a really great group of Free Dining on both Facebook and the Dis and the excitement in the group was infectious! Of course the promo released to the Disney Visa holders first (nope, I don’t have one, so I had to wait) and then to the rest of us peeps. I was kind of deflated when I read that Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter were excluded from the promo, but I had been prepared for that possibility and chose Coronado Springs resort. :yay:

You know what really irks me (and a lot of people on the Dis) is when people reserve the rooms in anticipation of Free Dining. Joe Black, one of the administrators of the group states that why should Disney bother including a resort which is already pretty booked to the promo. The promo is supposed to fill in an otherwise less than full resort. He believes POR and POFQ are full as people booked those resorts prior to the discount. I was also in various threads that once the promo hit and those resorts weren’t included that people were cancelling their ressies and moving to other resorts. I was so worried that this was going to make Coronado full, but thankfully I was able to get it.

Now the dates of our trip changed a few times prior to being able to book. I knew I wanted this trip to include our anniversary date (September 18th) but other than that I was pretty flexible. I printed out Josh’s EasyWDW September calendar and started planning.

At first I had the trip worked out as September 11 through the 21st. It felt a little weird to me to plan to fly on September 11th, but I would do it. I was trying to schedule the trip to include the lowest crowd days I possibly could. One thing I learned from the Playlist trip was that I hated large crowds! After all, isn’t Disney MY KINGDOM?? That’s right, it is and people need to know that!! I was all set with days/ADRs in my notebook when hurricane Victoria blew in…..:scared1:

What is that, you say? What does hurricane Victoria mean? Oh friends, you know my child…..she seems to find alternate things to do for any plan I make. She found out that Little Mix (a girl band who has a singer, Perrie, engaged to One Direction’s Zayn --- I knew this was important to you to know this!!) was playing in Orlando at the House of Blues on September 12th. She R-E-A-L-L-Y wanted to go to this concert and started her campaign for Peter and I to give in to her. Anyone with teens or tweens know what I’m talking about…..the promises to do chores, earn money, behave, etc. Being the wonderful Mother I am, I looked up the venue and discovered it was the House of Blues in Downtown Disney that they were playing at! I shared this knowledge with Victoria and told her a great big YES as neither Peter nor I have a problem with her going to this concert if it’s right in DTD!! In fact I bought the ticket as soon as I found out. So, September 12th will be the day spent in DTD! And the Little Mix ticket is also for the Meet & Greet!! She’s so excited!!!

Ok, now I have to re-look at the schedule to see what I can switch around. Knowing that Animal Kingdom is Victoria’s least favorite park, I wanted to schedule that park for the 13th --- the day after the concert as she’s going to be tired and cranky and will not want to go. We made an agreement that she will go to Tusker House for breakfast and go on EE, Dinosaur, and Kilimanjaro Safaris with us and then take the bus back to the resort. I’m making the Fast Pass selections for the am and that will leave Peter and I some alone time just walking around. It works out perfectly. But in order to get all my days to my liking via crowd calendars/EMH/MNSSHP I had to move the days up a bit to September 9th through the 19th. I like this schedule much better!! It’s funny how 2 days can really make a difference. I’m truly glad not to be flying on 9/11. Now will this work with making our reservation with Coronado Springs? I had a few days to sweat it out before I could call.

Finally it was here….the wonderful day that I could make the reservation! Yeah!! I didn’t get up any earlier or get all weird about it, but I did start calling at 7am while attempting to go online and do it that way. I was able to get Coronado reserved online even before I had gotten through to the reservations desk. Yeah! I was now booked standard view from September 9th through the 19th with Free Dining and 8 day passes (non-hopper) for Disney! :cool1: Well, you know me, I started thinking about which village to be in, which is closer to the pool or quiet pool, closer to the food court, etc. I started reading up on Business Class. Now all the Business Class rooms are in Cabana section 9-B. I like the selection! Also Business Class has a longue for members only which provides a continental breakfast served in the am and drinks/snacks served in the evenings. BONUS!! No need for a Garden Grocer order! Here’s a list of the amenities I found on the site:

CSR offers Business Class rooms for vacationing guests. Business Class level rooms includes access to the Coconino Lounge that offers a continental breakfast from 7am to 10am and evening snacks, beer, wine and soda from 5pm to 10pm.

Coconino Cove Lounge – the new Business Lounge at Disney Coronado Springs Resort – will provide a variety of exclusive amenities and upgraded services to our Guests.

Located in the Cabanas, building 9B, Coconino Cove is a semi-exclusive gathering place for networking, relaxing, working or playing.

Conveniently, all Guests with Coconino Cove access will be located in building 9B during their stay. Guest rooms will be close together near the lobby and convention center.

Coconino Cove is open 7:00 a.m. – 10 a.m., 7 days a week for breakfast and 5:00 p.m. - 10 p.m. for evening service.

Breakfast (7-10am): Cold cereals, bagels, fresh fruits, and either muffins, cinnamon rolls, or danish (they alternate those). The coffee machine makes espresso and lattes; they have regular and decaf coffee, a nice selection of teas, milk and juice.

Items subject to change

There are only 66 rooms in cabana 9b available to access the Coconino Cove. Its not the entire building.

43 king
23 standard

All Business Class level rooms have two queen-size beds or one king-size bed, desk and chair, vanity area with sink, a ceiling fan and a bathroom. All rooms are non-smoking as well. This rooms are also 314 sq ft. Rooms are equipped with a mini refrigerator, coffee maker, and an I-Home clock radio and docking station which is included in the cost of the room.

Additional amenities for business class rooms:
• Upgraded mattresses
• Plus lounge chair with ottoman
• Tile flooring in vanity area
• Additional shelving in vanity area
• Wood crown molding throughout room
• DVD/Blu-ray player
• Bath robes

Now that I’ve read all that, I really, really wanted Business Class so I started using myDisneyExperience to see if it was available. I check several, and I mean several times throughout the day with no availability :headache:. Finally around 9pm I saw Business Class Standard online and called praying it was still going to be available by the time the castmember got on the phone. It was about 10 minutes before I was connected and guess what --- it was still available, so I booked it, replacing my other ressie! Yay!! Joy!! Celebrate!!! Yahoo!!!!! :cloud9: Yes, it’s a bit more expensive (like $500 for the entire 10 days) but for the location, I’m happy!!! One little itty bitty tiny issue ----- I have yet to tell Victoria that September is Love Bug month. Let her enjoy the planning for now! :lmao:

No fair!!! Darn cubicle life!

Oh well, I will be second. I am ok with that! ;)

Sounds great & 10 days at the World! LOVE IT!! Woo!!!

I'll be anxious to see how you like CSR. We stayed there few days prior to our 2012 cruise and it is a very nice resort- don't get me wrong..... but it just wasn't my vibe. I don' t know if it was the theming I didn't like...or the more sterile feel......

But I know lots of people are completely in love with that resort!

Dang- I can't even blame my late coming on cubicle life.

I looked at Karen's time and it was right when I happened to be enjoying a giant sugar cookie at Potbelly.

Yup I have to blame my lateness on sugar. No big shocker there.....

Before we get too far along, I should introduce you to the Cast of Characters that are venturing on this journey. First, let me introduce you to my wonderful daughter Victoria. She turned 16 in February and is your typical teenager. She just finished driver’s education and actually loves to drive. :drive: Yay, as I wasn’t sure she would as I thought she’d be nervous as she does suffer from some anxiety issues. She will be a junior in high school in the Fall. OMG!!! :scared1: I just gave birth to that child ---- when did she grow up?

She is experimenting with makeup now and I feel she does her eyebrows too dark…..but she likes it!

It was her and I – two peas in a pod for a long time. I had divorced her father (aka sperm donor) when she was 5 and I didn’t really date that much until I met my new husband in 2009 when she was 10, so we are very, very close. She’s had some physical difficulties but what she can’t do physically, she sure does make up for it mentally!! She’s very smart and very good at photography! I should really show some of her pictures on here. Her composition and lighting ablilites are a heck of a lot better than mine!!! She wants to be a teacher, but I honestly hope she does something with her photography. Here are two of her favorite subjects ---- her chickens

Then there is my hubby of almost 4 years ---- Peter! He’s a little older than me and works about an hour away from home as the Service Manager at a fuel company. We met in April of 2009 on an online dating service (I know, I know, but it worked!! :thumbsup2) and we were engaged in November 2009 and married in September 2010. Yep, Victoria came on our honeymoon with us (to Disney, of course!). At first Victoria didn’t like him (not that she would have liked ANYBODY) but now they are so close! :lovestruc It worked out very, very well for our entire family! Peter likes to work on European sports cars such as MGs and Fiats (ok Fiat is Italian --- shoot me!) He loves our chickens (all 27 of them) and talks to them like they are his little babies! It’s really cute to watch! :rolleyes1

Yep….notice the t-shirt!! I had those done on our first anniversary trip to Disney!

Then there’s me…..Ann. I work full time for State Government collecting child support. Most days I love my job and then there are other days……hey, it pays the bills, right? I’m heavier than I want to be and being a diabetic, I’m always trying to lose weight. Big problem with that? I hate to exercise. Oh I don’t mind walking the dog, but to actually exercise? Nah. I know it would be the best thing for me, but I just can’t get myself to do it. I don’t know. I think it’s a mental block or something. I love to scrapbook, but again, you can’t exercise and scrapbook at the same time ---- something’s got to give, right?

Well, that’s a bit fuzzy, but it’s a photo I’m not too disgusted with so there you have it.

That’s my family! Oh there’s a dog, 2 cats, 2 guinea pigs and the aforementioned chickens that round out our family, but they can’t come on the trip with us. Yeah, they all poop and I don’t think the airline or resort would like that too much! Animal Haters!!

Well I'm hoping that I'll really fall in love with it. I just think that being in Business Class knowing where you'll be placed is sooooo worth the extra money. Heck, I used to pay preferred at POR, so what's the difference, right? I love the blueish/teal of the bed runners and pillows. I never thought I'd be interested in the Mexican theme, but we'll see. I can't wait to see the "ruins" around the Dig Site pool area! I also think having the lounge right there will be fantastic as we drink a lot of soda (and will like the convenience of not having to go to the refill station all the time)!! And we love snacks!!

Dang- I can't even blame my late coming on cubicle life.

A GIANT SUGAR COOKIE???!!! I envy you now!!! :thumbsup2

Thanks for the info! We are going the last week in September. I have requested a room close to transportation because my husband has trouble with his knee and they noted it on our reservations but were not able to upgrade us to a preferred room. I hope it works out!

ALREADY PAID IN FULL!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: My wonderful hubby Peter said to just put in on the Southwest Credit Card yesterday so that’s exactly what I did! (Yeah, he didn’t have to tell me twice!) The total price of our package is $3,837.11, including Memory Maker. That’s a bit more than I paid for our Playlist 2014 trip which included 4 nights at Caribe Royale then Pop Century for 5 days. I had to pay for the Dining Plan during that trip and I had upgraded to the Regular dining plan over Quick Service. Of course that figure didn’t include the money I shelled out for the Playlist tickets or the food that was not part of the plan. That trip wasn’t cheap and it wasn’t a great trip. Yep, I am definitely so much happier with this upcoming trip. It shouldn’t be very much out of pocket expense, either. So, let’s all do the paid in full dance now…..:cheer2: :dance3: :cool1: :dance3: :cheer2: :cool1: :dance3:

Another great thing about putting the balance on the SW card is that we will earn that amount in points as you get 1 point per dollar. Besides, he’s put other stuff on there, so it should be about 4,000 in points effective July 18th. Those added to his current points balance should get us another flight, so that both Peter and Victoria will have their tickets back home. Bummer…..I won’t have a flight back yet. Aweeeeeee…….ok, fine. I will just pay for mine with cash. One thing I’ve noticed since I’ve booked the flights is there hasn’t been any great sales for my area. The prices haven’t gone down at all and that makes me mad! I was expecting at least some type of sale….nothing. Nada. Oh well. The prices aren’t really THAT bad. They are about the same as I paid in March.

You know what would make this trip even better??? If we could sell that gosh darned house before we leave! For those of you who don’t know, Peter is finally selling his house in Starks, Maine. I think he feels that after four years of being married to me it’s a pretty safe bet I’m going to let him live with me for the foreseeable future. (Silly Man!) We just decided to reduce the price to $39,900!!! It’s a freakin steal at that price!! I cannot believe no one has expressed interest. Yes, it’s out in the boonies, but still!!! Most people would pay that price for the land only (11 acres) but this property has two dwellings on it! Ugh!!! It would be nice for Peter to leave on this trip debt free. He worries about money a lot. He makes slightly over what I make and states that it’s not enough. I think he’s crazy. His debts surround that house ---- mortgage, insurance, property taxes. The bills he pays at my house are oil for heat, weekly groceries, dining out, and occasionally fills my gas tank (I have a Dodge Caliber and work ½ mile from home --- I don’t use much gas!) Oh, he also has a car payment. This has worked out for us pretty well since we’ve been married. I handle the electric, mortgage, taxes, insurance, cell phones, regular phone, internet, Directv, and my car payment. I do sweat it sometimes when I have medications to pick up (one of them costs $85 and that’s WITH my health insurance) or when unexpected/unplanned for expenses come up (ie Victoria’s driver’s ed) but I just put them into the budget and stop worrying about them. My pay and bill pay is all done electronically, so I rarely see cash! LOL! I just wish he would stop worrying about money.

I think one reason that Peter is freaking out a bit is that Victoria now wants a MacBook. Ugh! I believe the one she wants is $1,300 and she wants it soon. Her current laptop is slowly dying and she states she cannot live without one. Heck, I’m still using a desktop from 7 or so years ago (Windows Vista anyone?). So, since Victoria is without a job, the expense would fall on Peter because I already told her no and to have her current laptop repaired if it can be. But, if Peter wants to buy her one, that’s all on him. She has him wrapped around her finger, that’s for sure!!!;)

So, in other news I got this really nice pin from Disney Movie Rewards. I cannot wait to try out this ride!! I just wish my fast pass day was here (it’s on July 11th) so that I can be sure I have the FP for this ride. I also want a FP for Anna & Elsa. I was very surprised when Victoria wanted to see them as well. I just wished they were meeting together, but they’re not anymore. Oh well. Such is life, right?

And this is the park bag I made for this trip….

I think it’s pretty cool looking! Hey it’s made out of scraps, so it is what it is!

So, there’s my update.......PAID IN FULL!!!

(and Karen, I did my best at putting in relevant photos!!!)

I'm so proud of you for including photos! ;)

PAID IN FULL! WOOT! That's such a great feeling. I'm always up to the last minute, counting out until 45 days and completely stressing.

Woo hoo!! Way to be paid in full!!!

Love that bag you made- especially the colors!

And that pin is nice too!

I'll keep fingers crossed that the property sells. How nice would that be?

Isn’t this cute?? I saw a couple of people on Facebook doing this, so I ordered mine. I think it came out really nice. It’s too bad it’s a bumper sticker because I don’t put those on my car, so it’s hanging on my wall at work!

DAYS UNTIL DISNEY: 69!!!!

The days are just flying by. I don’t want to wish my summer away at all, but it’s going by fast! I can’t believe my baby will be a JUNIOR in high school. That just seems so unreal to me! The only huge plan we have for the summer is the One Direction concert in Boston in August. We have a pool at home so really, unless it’s going to the ocean, there’s really no need to go anywhere. Our pool temp right now?? 79, but that was on Sunday. We’ve had 90 degree days since so I bet it’s even warmer now. See my little fishy thermometer??

Here’s more pictures of Victoria and I just hanging in the pool on Sunday:

Peter was busy pouring cement for his “new” garage. “But Ann, doesn’t he already have a garage?” you say? Why yes, yes he does, but he can’t fit all of his toys (ie cars, tractor etc) in that one, so it’s time for another one in the back. I have no idea what he’s going to do when we run out of land to put things on. Oh wait……there’s a vacant lot next to ours with about 2 acres, but that one abuts a cemetery so I don’t know if I’d want that one. I definitely believe in ghosts and I don’t want a mean evil spirit to come visit! He has all kinds of projects lined up for the summer and he’ll never get to them all. He’s happiest at home, so hey, if that’s what he likes, so be it!

Victoria has been doing really well lately. She meets with the therapist once per week in our home which is so convenient! She’s pretty stable right now, but I know at any time this could change. She has also started going to the Y with her cousin Emily and since they go, I’ve joined now. Yeah me! I love, love, love the AquaFit class I took on Tuesday!! OMG! I had so much fun and it really is tough! They have the class again on Thursday and Saturday and I plan on going both times! I’ve never found myself liking a class more than this!

Hopefully I can build up my endurance and strength before Disney. I would like to not pant like a puppy while I’m there. I’m very proud of myself for joining. Here’s to having it continue! My main goal is to get stronger but if it also helps me lose weight, well that’s just an added bonus!!!

So, that’s all for today. Enjoy your day!!

60 DAYS OUT!!! That’s right folks I’m 60 days out!! You all know what that means, right?? Yep it’s online check-in day as well as Fast Pass selection day and everything worked out perfectly! I just happened to wake up at 7 minutes after midnight this morning and while I let the dog out for a few minutes, I sat down at the computer and did my Magic Kingdom days. I wanted Anna & Elsa meet fast pass and I heard they go quickly. As it was, I wasn’t able to get them on our first MK day (September 10th) but I was able to get them for 2:30pm on the 16th. Hey, I’m good with that. At least we’ll get to meet them with little wait. As for resort check-in, I requested ground floor, near transportation for my check-in. I’m Business Class so it’s automatically in Cabanas 9B, but hey, it asked for requests so I gave it some. I can’t believe it’s only 60 days away now!!

I’ll be here at Registration soon enough

I bet you are all just chomping at the bit to find out what are days are looking like now, huh? Yeah, sure you are! Arrival day is Tuesday, September 9th and we should be in Orlando by 12:05pm. We’ll be whisked away by the Magical Express (could I please for once get to ride the actual ME bus and not a yellow Mears one? Not that it’s a big deal, it’s just never happened for us) to our magical resort of Coronado Springs! The only other plan for that day is a 3:45pm lunch/dinner at Planet Hollywood in Downtown Disney! I’m really curious to see all of the changes that have occurred since March to Downtown Disney! So we’ll have some time to get acquainted with the resort on this day although I’ve already studied the map over and over again and have looked through tons of pictures. Now admit it, I can’t be the only one who does that, right? I didn’t think so. Maybe we will partake in the movie of the evening or campfire at the resort. Who knows?! The world is my oyster!

Wednesday the 10th is our first of 2 Magic Kingdom Days!

It will start out with breakfast at MY castle! That’s right, we are having breakfast at 8:25am at Cinderella’s Royal Table. I will be wearing my tiara and special princess shirt that I know my fellow princesses will adore! Did I mention I’m making it? Yeah, that’s if I can finish my Animal Kingdom shirt using the same pattern! Since the ressie is prior to park opening the pictures in front of the castle will be magical! Me, my prince and little princess….all smiles and happy…..Yep, it’s gonna happen!! After our appearance at the castle (yes, MY castle) we intend on doing some rides via standby. I’m anxious to see a park day at 2 instead of 8!!! We may even try to visit with Cinderella & Rapunzel at their meet & greet in Fantasyland or even Merida! Our fastpasses start at 1pm with Space Mountain, so we will probably stick to Fantasyland/Tomorrowland prior to that. Then we have Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at 2:35 and afterwards Splash Mountain at 4:35pm. I think that’s a perfect schedule so that we are not hurrying or criss-crossing the park and feeling rushed. Of course lunch will be in there, too and I’m thinking probably Columbia Harbor House or Pinocchio’s Village Haus. Both places we’ve eaten at before and enjoyed. I especially like sitting at the window in Pinocchio’s and watching it’s a small world and waving at the people! I’m not sure when we will leave the park or what supper will be…..see? There’s still spontaneity in the parks!!

September 11th will be the first of two scheduled EPCOT days (although our “choice” day usually ends up being EPCOT, too, so it may be three total.

Our plan is to arrive at the park right around rope drop and head to Test Track. Yep, since I can’t fast pass 2 tier 1’s, we’ll have to rope drop TT. Hopefully it will be slow enough to do everything (except Soarin) standby without too much of a wait. September is supposedly slow, so we should be fine. The first Fast pass is for Maelstrom at 11am. I didn’t get to ride it last March and I think it’s adorable! After that we will probably have lunch. Our usual spot is the Electric Umbrella, but maybe I’ll research for another counter service so we can have variety. Yeah, I think that’s a plan. I know there’s a place in the American Adventure, but I didn’t want to do that and then back track back to Spaceship Earth for our 1:50pm fast pass. Although there is the boat that cuts across the lake. Hmmmmm. OH Man!! I completely forgot for a moment about Seasons. Yep!! Love Seasons!!! Ok, so as you can see, lunch is not quite planned out yet. Silly me! Our last fast pass scheduled is for Soarin at 2:50pm. We have something different set up for dinner --- Chefs de France. None of us has ever been and I thought it would be nice. We’ve looked at the menu and decided that there was something on the menu for everyone, so it’s a good choice. Afterwards I’m not sure what we are going to do. I would love to stay for Illuminations, but we’ll see how tired we all are. Heck, we could go back to the resort, rest, and then come back. It’s an option!

Well, we have a very disappointed girl for September 12th. The Little Mix concert that was scheduled for this day at the House of Blues has been cancelled. We just found out about this about a week ago. At least they are refunding the money we spent on the tickets. So this leaves us with a totally open day. We do have ressies at the House of Blues for lunch so I know part of the day will be spent in DTD, but besides that, I have no clue. Maybe we’ll cruise back and forth from DTD to POR…..

More to come…….

Looks like a great schedule! I am so jealous that you are going the first week of Sept- it will be such low crowds! I teach, so I can never take that week off and go. Enjoy! I also couldn't get Anna and Elsa, so I look forward to your pics meeting them!

I like your plans! I read this the other day and thought I responded, but life is crazy right now and I guess I just responded in my head.

That sucks about the concert, why did they cancel?? :confused3

I’m so glad that you get a do-over, Ann! That is great that you were able to get business class at Coronado. I can’t wait to hear about how you like it. That is so awesome that you are paid in full!

You believe in ghosts, too! Oh, we have to talk about that one day! I’m happy that you are enjoying your AquaFit class!

Back to your trip - :yay: for all of your FastPass selections! You will love going to MK on a “2” day!

I might be a little late, but I am here Ann. I kept reading other people's PTR's wondering if you were going. We are going in September as well, but we are leaving the 7th, so no upstaging the Princess this year. I just skimmed the report so far, but I will go back.

Hi Donia!!! Yeah, we really shouldn’t be going that first week in September, but my Disney obsession wins over Victoria’s junior year of high school. She’ll go to school for 3 days and then leaving for 10 days. Hey, she’s my child and the school district is not going to tell me that I can or cannot pull my child out of school. I know it’s impossible for a teacher to go, though. I’m hoping for extremely low crowds as March in Disney was so not fun!!! Yuck!! I am not complaining, but I wish that Anna & Elsa were still meeting together. I think a picture with both of them would have been nice, but I’ll definitely take what I can get! I couldn’t believe how hard it is to get them. I would have liked to meet them right after our breakfast at CRT, but there wasn’t even one time slot that entire day. Good thing we stay for 10 days! I was able to have my pick on our second MK day. I was up at midnight, too. Not necessarily to do FPP, but to let the dog out. It just happened to work to my advantage thanks to my dog’s small bladder! LOL! I’m going to make sure every PP photographer I see knows I already purchased Memory Maker so hopefully they will take lots and lots of shots! I’ll even hand them my camera to take pics with!

I like your plans! I read this the other day and thought I responded, but life is crazy right now and I guess I just responded in my head.

That sucks about the concert, why did they cancel?? :confused3

Karen, I know we are really good Dis-friends, but I cannot read your mind…..YET!!! I’m glad you responded in your head, though. Makes me feel loved!! LOL! So, lots of people take vacations in summer and you’re busy pet-sitting, huh? Lucky you!! Elsa is growing into such a beauty and look how big she’s gotten. That means you guys are giving her all the love and attention she needs. I think it’s so cute how she missed Savannah the night she wasn’t home. Poor baby! She looks a lot like our Reeses. So, totally off topic here, but I just booked our hotel for Playlist Live 2015. I know you already have your ressies, but I don’t know what rate you got. If you call and say you’re with PlayList Live then the rate is $186 per night ---- a heck of a lot less than the website, so I figured I’d let you know. (YOU TOO, ERIN!!) It looks like that trip is going to be just Mama & Vic. She’s having such a hard time with “no friends” ie Kali. She needs to find a job or something where she can meet some new friends. I feel really bad for her. Even at the Y, it’s a lot of older people, especially in Aquafit which she now does with me. Oh, she has friends (like Allison who we are going to the One Direction concert in August with) but it’s just not the same. Yes, she’s still on her meds and still in therapy, so there is a support system for her.

Hi Erin!!! Oh I really needed the do-over! I know it’s not all about me, but let’s face it, regarding Disney, it IS all about me. LOL! How can people stand to go during peak season. Ugh! I guess if it’s the only available time during the year that you can go then that’s ok, but boy am I glad I have the options! The tension between Kali and Vic were brewing, so it just wasn’t much fun. I’m gonna say it….I DON’T LIKE POP!!! I found the room small and the bed really lumpy! You could see the indentation of the people before me in the bed!! I was really put off by that. I’m not fussy, I’m really not, but I just didn’t like it. I even tried to flip the mattress to the other side, but it wasn’t any better. Oh, I did get the location I requested, but ……..

I cannot wait to talk ghosts with you!!! Love the subject. I just wish I could be more intuitive than I am. I love those “haunting” shows on tv. The more realistic ones and not movies. I do love my Aquafit classes, but last week they cancelled one class due to thunderstorms in the area. Poo! Last night I just didn’t have the energy to do Zumba, even though I love it. I do Zumba at the State employee gym on Mon & Wed and Aquafit on Tues & Thrs at the Y. Yep, 2 different gyms for this girl. I just don’t like the Zumba classes at the Y.

OH and guess what??!! I currently have 11 eggs in the incubator now which will hatch the first week of August. No, I don’t need any more chickens --- I’m hatching them for the local 4H kids. I will have to give them up after they are born. Let’s see how that goes, huh? You know me!

I might be a little late, but I am here Ann. I kept reading other people's PTR's wondering if you were going. We are going in September as well, but we are leaving the 7th, so no upstaging the Princess this year. I just skimmed the report so far, but I will go back.

Yay!! Shannon is here! Yeah, I think Cinderella was a little miffed that I’d rather have my picture taken with you than her! That was sooooo funny!! It’s so too bad we didn’t have time to chat, but you were leaving and we didn’t get to our ressie until late. Maybe another year!
