Just signed a deal for 200 pts at SSR for $73 per point but with seller paying full MF amount of 982 for 2014. 200 pts coming up dec 1, 2014 and 200 pts coming on dec 1 , 2015. Wondering if this is going to pass ROFR. Any thoughts?

FWIW, I think it will pass.

DVC considers the dues that were paid in January 2014 to be for the calendar year 2014. So those dues were for 11 months of 2013 points and just 1 month of 2014 points.

Good luck - don't make yourself crazy while you're waiting, LOL.

You should be ok, according to the taken posts most were for under 70 and most had loaded points from year before.
good luck

Almost certain it will pass -- we closed a few weeks ago at $72/pt for 160 pts in a June use year. 2014 points were stripped, so you got the better deal, but I can't imagine Disney needing that large a contract at that price.

Received some bad news today. Disney "took" my contract. Frankly I am feeling surprised and a little shocked that they exercised their ROFR on this.

Im sorry to hear that. It goes to show, nothing Disney does is straight forward, or predictable. I heard today, same day you heard, that we passed. My contract was similar, 200SSR but with Feb UY, 0-2013,200-2014 and on and at $62/point. Now I bought with Fidelity, which is where Disney sends people, and I am splitting 2014MF and splitting closing. So :confused3 I don't know.
Sorry for that.

Yes it's a little frustrating but am happy to hear about yours passing! Congrats. I used the timeshare store.

I am convinced that Disney takes contracts where the seller pays maintenance fees or closing costs.... It sure looks that way anyways

Sorry to read this. I am just starting the process....

Did you offer on another property?

Yes I made an offer on another similar contract but I offered to pay the MF for 2014 this time. Hopefully that helps. Waiting on seller to accept. Hopefully better luck this time! If I get ROFR'd again I am going to take it as a sign that it wasn't meant to be. Haha.
