Disney World Annual Pass

Hi there my fiancé and I are getting married in Disney World and we received a gift from Disney they were annual passes for us, we just have some questions we hope people can help us.

we go to Disney every year and we always get the park hopper passes with water park as well.

we are just wondering can we still fast pass with these annual passes? online and in the parks?

will we receive the new magic bands?

can we use them at the water parks or do we have to pay for those tickets?

Yes, you can FP+ with the AP. There are two types of AP - with and without water parks, and they should be able to tell you which type yours are. If it is just the four park AP, you can buy discounted one day Wp tickets or upgrade to the AP with WP. Both AP's include park hopping.

Since you said you received the APs from Disney it sounds like you are doing a Disney Fairy Tale Wedding. There's a forum further down on Disney Weddings and Honeymoons where you could ask which level of AP you received. The regular AP doesn't included the water parks while the Premium AP does.

Yes. If you have a resort reservation you can make your FP+ 60 days in advance & if no resort reservation, you can make them 30 days in advance for any 7 days

After you attach the new AP to your MDE account you will be able to order the AP MB. The box will come with a card you can carry for AP discount eligibility as well as an AP slider

My guess is you were given regular AP's. Normally, you could simply pay the difference & upgrade it to a Premium AP to add the WP's BUT since the AP was a gift it might not be able to be upgrade. If that is the case I would simply purchase a separate WP AP.

It is hardly free. It is part of the wedding packages which are not cheap. We got married at Disney in January and our package included the annual passes. Yes they are the standard APs that do not include the water parks but other than that they are exactly like a normal AP. You can book FP+s, you can order a MB to go with the AP if you are staying offsite or you will receive a new MB with each stay at a Disney resort.

I'm guessing you can upgrade this to the Premier annual pass, just like anything else. They would just bridge the $$$ difference and hat what you would pay....

Of course this would only make sense if you know that you'd be going to water parks a minimum 3 times during the annual pass use year, and also taking advantage of disneyquest
too... BTW, congrats on your upcoming wedding. Hope all is Magical. .
