Just a heads up here- we are on "New Thread Watch"

New thread watch? Ooh sounds exciting. (Can you tell I'm new in town? )

Thursday I go from volunteering at the high school library from 7-8 am, then work, then off to a doctor's appointment.

Friday, I will be gone all day- that's 7 am to 9:30 pm, chaperoning a band field trip to a competition and then Six Flags- Trills and Thrills- with 13 and 14 year olds.

Saturday is Ben's 13th BD party, capped off by a sleepover with 5 of his friends.

I'm bummed that I'm missing, you too. Especially since I know that Missy would love to get her hands on me during a non-family trip so she could correct some injustices like my family not wanting to go to shows or anything Little Mermaid or Beauty & the Beast. Or finally making me go to Beaches & Cream for a meal and ice cream.

Dee - I am SUPER excited that real Dee is finally coming to our Dis Meet.

In 2010 I thought I was going to meet up with you and HockeyMomR (Rebecca) until dd broke her leg and we had to delay our trip by two weeks.
Then last year we missed each other by one day!

I can't wait - Now if only our YCFAN could somehow drag herself down for a day or two it would be perfect!!!!

Looking to stay at YC in July after a few days at Vero Beach. Is there a huge difference between club level in YC or BC? I've stayed club level in YC but not BC.

Biggest difference is the size. YC CL is the larger of the two. Food and drink are the exact same. Can't go wrong either way.

Yay Dee! I'm so glad you are able to go in August! That's wonderful news. I'm sad I can't go in August. Wish I could join you all...it sounds like its going to be quite a rocking party complete with shenanigans, protests and sit-ins (or will it be a shower-in?) a certain fly and maybe a few Sunken Treasures thrown in for good measure. Lots of pictures, please!

So jealous... impossible for me to make the meet this year as soccer tryouts are at that time for school and they frown if the coach is not in attendance Loved our small meet last year though and wish I could meet up with Dee this year. Have fun though and sip a Sunken Treasure

I was finally able to finalize our resort plans this morning. We are staying at Pop on June 4, BC CL June 5-11 and AoA June 11-14. There was no more room at the inn for those last few nights which is why we are being forced to leave our beloved BC and head over to AoA.

I promise I won't do a daily countdown but just had to pipe in with a super excited - 2 weeks from today we will be checking in to YC! At this time in 2 weeks - I hope to be checked in with bags at bell services ( unless we get lucky and room I ready) and will have already ridden ee at least once !!! Can't wait.

And yes the end of may super crazy for families - tomorrow packing up older after 1st year at college - today buying teacher gifts - Sunday baking for to put with teacher gifts - end of season sports banquets etc etc. Good luck everyone getting through the end of school stuff !!!

As MickeyT said, the lounge area is (currently) larger at YC. The other thing to note is that not all rooms at BC CL have full-sized balconies. Other than that, the food choices and employees/management team that work the club level area are the same.

I got lucky again!! Been checking availability at YC/BC for months looking for anything to open up the first week of June. Some of you might even remember me posting several times about not having any Epcot resorts available that week. We had booked a 1br at BWV as our only option. Finally yesterday I was able to get 4 of our nights at YC CL LV!!!! I don't know what happened but suddenly they had every room category available!!!??? It must have been a block of rooms on hold. Maybe Mark Hamill released them??? I don't know how I got lucky again, this is the exact same thing that happened to us in March. I had been checking YC/BC availability since Christmas and was finally able to get it a couple of weeks before our Spring Break. Fate must be working on my side. I will keep checking for more days to open up earlier in the week, but as it stands right now we'll be there June 4-8. The kids are going to be so shocked and excited!!! It's their favorite resort.

Yay! We will be at BC at the same time! I'm sure we will see you at SAB at some point. My 13 year old son's favorite pastime is playing volleyball in the pool so we are at SAB all morning and most of the afternoon. We enjoying having lunch poolside then heading into the parks around 4.
