After PIF, what time does registration begin?

We booked our trip through Costco Travel and they've already charged our credit card for the full amount. I think their policy is to charge the credit cards two weeks before the official PIF deadline. It's my understanding that our registration window opens on 3/3, which is next Monday. My question is, if I'm in California, is it 12am 3/3 before I can log in or can I log in at 9pm 3/2? I hear that Palo brunch is already full so maybe it won't matter either way but since this is our first time going on a Disney cruise, I don't want to miss anything if there's anything to gain to trying to log in when registration opens.

It opens at midnight eastern time. Palo Brunch is not always full. Good luck to finding a spot online. They do hold reservations to be made on the ship embarkation day.

Being in CA, you can start booking at 9:00 PM on 3/2.

And.. Weren;t there 2 times? Like midnight you could get your port time, and do excursions at 3am or something? There was an offset last time I did it...

We book 3/9 so I want to be ready!

Used to be online checkin opened at midnight eastern, and excursions opened at 3 am eastern (or vice versa, can't recall). That changed about 2 years ago. Everything opens at midnight eastern time now.

No, it's all the same time. You have to put in your travel info first. Some people put junk info in to get to the reservations and port excursions right away. But as soon as your info is in you can start making reservations for everything else.

I'm pretty sure I was able to do my Palo brunch and dinner reservations before doing the personal information and getting a PAT... Maybe because I had cruised before?

Only on the online checkin do you have to fill out all previous pages (albeit correct info, gibberish, default answers, whatever) in order for the PAT page to unlock.

You don't have to have completed online checkin to book excursions and such, but you do need to be Paid in Full.

When you do your online checkin (when your checkin/excursion booking window opens), it's like the 4th page of the process. But, you need to have filled out all the requested information on the previous pages in order for that page to "unlock".

Now, the information you put in there doesn't have to be real. To get to the PAT page quicker, you can select that you are backing your account with "cash" (not credit card), and that you're using "birth certificate" (not passport) for ID, and that you're not "arriving by airline" (won't have to enter flight numbers/times). You can always go back and fix anything that wasn't entered correctly.

Do you have to go through all of that to book all of your excursions and dining? Or is that just to secure a favorable PAT? Can you book all of the excursions, dining, etc before you have to enter all that info?

No. When your online checkin/excursion booking window opens, you can do either one first.

The only requirement for booking excursions/adult dining/spa/nursery hours/etc is that you must be Paid in Full.

Not to hijack this thread but I have a ???

We are booked concierge on Fantasy for Halloween. I've heard several times that we can make requests at 150 days out and the concierge people will book it for us when our window opens at 120 days. Is this correct? Do you have to be PIF by 150 days or 120 days out to do this? Can you make the requests at 150 for everything like Palo and Remy, cabanas, nursery, etc? Thanks!
