Ok, I had to go back to the dvr to see Juan. I admit I wasn't paying attention the first time. Holy cow, he's a hottie. Twist my arm, I'll watch.

You should join us. We don't take the show seriously at all. We mostly laugh at all the crazy, stupid stuff the girls do. It's more like a reality TV soap opera, of "Oh no! She didn't!!!!" kind of a show for us, than a serious, picking someone for true love, type of show.

We even place bets on how long the couple will last.

Like with this last couple, the Bachelorette only picked this guy because the guy she really was in love with, dropped out of the competition. It was sooo obvious this guy was a second best choice.

Did anyone else think that Derek looked a little off tonight? I saw him wiping his brow a few times, not after he was dancing either. Mark had him on his shoulders for about 10 seconds before Derek asked to be put down.


I haven't really missed the result shows this season. They had two hours tonight and they wait until the last 5 minutes to annouce the winners. Give them a little time to enjoy the win before the show is over. The celebration didn't seem to last very long.

I usually watch them on GMA but not this year.

To me the show seemed longer than it had to be, I would've been good with a one hour finale. "My son said to me this morning, why were you up so late?"


I wasn't surprised with the winner, was surprised that Corbin came in second even though he was my favorite. I figured the whole ringer thing would capsize him.

I didn't think Amber's fusion dance was as amazing as the judges thought, I've seen her be more entertaining.

Finally, I actually liked how they did the show this season, I really didn't need two nights of DWTS, one was sufficient for me.

For all of us that can't stand Brooke... a surprise elimination was announced this morning. She won't be back next season.

I feel almost a little bad about how happy I am that Brooke will not be on this season. She was just awful and brought nothing to the show. I hope they don't try to bring in another co-host. Just let Tom handle it himself, he is clearly skilled enough to do it. With the one night a week format, there was much less time for Brooke's filler interviews anyway so I bet they stick with just one host.

Poor Bruce. Just look what those kardashians did to him. Hopefully they won't all be in the audience if he is on the show. They were always there when Rob competed.

Aaaaaand, Erin Andrews takes the field!

At least she has interview experience. Brooke's questions and weird responses won't be missed.
We started watching when Hines Ward was one of the celebs. I thought Brooke would be replaced the next season, and every season after! She did get better over time and every season DH and I would comment on how her demeanor was relaxing, little by little. Also, she did a better job with the banter. I feel kind of bad for her because they kept her for so long despite the fact that she was so wooden. I can see how she felt secure after all this time.

I love the Erin Andrews move. I actually thought they'd just go with Tom alone but I think Erin will be great. She and Tom had good banter on the season she competed and she has actual sideline interviewing experience. If you look at DWTS like a competition/sporting event, having a sports sideline reporter actually makes perfect sense. Plus, she'll still look good in the gowns. LOL

I know. Anyone they hire won't please everyone. It's just that Erin annoyed the heck out of me when she was paired with Maks. She seemed smug. I don't know anything else about her, just the season on DWTS.
