Great TR - thank you! We'll be on the Wonder for Easter and it was fantastic to see pictures and such detailed dining reviews.
Great trip report as usual! thanks for taking us all along
I love that you have a kitty named Velcro! That's awesome! Our handsome man-cat is Link, from the Legend of Zelda on Nintendo.
I'm glad my TR inspired a delicious final dinner for you on the Wonder. I just love how they will bring you anything and everything you want. One night I got a small portion of the vegetarian meal because I thought it sounded good, but the server told me it wasn't worth getting as my entree, and he was right. It was pretty bland... but a good side dish.
Congrats on winning that amber necklace. The color variations are really nice. It's very small and simple, totally my style. I think the jeweler is always bummed when I come look with Chris because they want to show my big expensive things and I always want to see small, petite pieces. Works out well for our checkbook I'm always asking, do you have something smaller?
Thanks for telling us all about your fun filled cruise! I can't wait to read about Galvaston!
I know I'm a little late for the party, but I just wanted to let you know what a treat it was to read your report! Thanks for sharing your experience and great sense of humor with us all - can't wait to read the next one!
Very much appreciated the 'food porn' as well
Hi Alison!
I have a lot of catching up to do- I have been MIA from the DIS since I got back from Spring Break with Timmy, it's been the end of tax season, beginning of baseball season, PTA season- just a LOT going on!! But I wanted to say hi- hopefully I'll find some time this weekend to read the rest of your story.
Ellen
Oh yeah, I just finished re-reading this report. Had to get a Wonder fix.
Glad Fran is feeling so much better!
I can't believe you read the whole thing again!
Every single word. I need an intervention.

And me too- I started re-reading it last night-
Just started reading this thread! Enjoying so far! We r on the B2B Wonder cruise in May with you!...I am adding to the reply because I can't believe that I've FINISHED this trip report in 3 hours! I loved reliving Wonder. I feel we've gotten to know you and Fran. When we went on Wonder, we went to Palo for brunch and dinner. When we went on Fantasy, we also had TWO brunches and one dinner. My DH and I have agreed that because the B2B is so short (2 night and 3 night) we will do two Palo brunches and skip the dinner. However, the chocolate soufflé at dinner is TOTALLY worth it! I loved reading about your shopping excursions and finding out what you purchased. I love shopping as well, but you sure beat me. BTW, do you know whether or not Ensenada has Diamonds International? I figured it doesn't. Your concierge stateroom was amazing and the verandah looked to die for. I have to admit that booking your next cruise while on board is sooooo exciting because you have something else to look forward to.
I can't believe you read the whole thing! I noticed your post yesterday, but forgot to come back and comment until now. We haven't quite decided, but I'm leaning towards two Palo brunches and one dinner. However that might change since I have two more cruises between now and then. That Concierge room was soooooo nice, but when we realized that we could go on twice as many cruises by sailing in a regular cabin, we decided to go with that. The only big difference was the size of the room, and that I could order my coffee delivery for the week on the first day. We did a cruise on the Magic out of Galveston and I just put the room service tag on the door every night and had the same result with my coffee arriving every morning between 7AM and 7:30. I'm surprised, there is no Diamonds International in Ensenada. We cruised there on Carnival about 15 years ago and did the winery tour. It was a lot of fun and informative.
I've decided that when we get to Ensenada, we probably will go to the port shops to get trinkets and cheap souvenirs that say Ensenada. We want to take advantage of being on Wonder.
I noticed that you're from long beach. We live in harbor city. I work at Torrance Memorial. My DH and I met at Long Beach State and he works at their Student Health Center. We always say that Disney is in our blood and we are also disneyland passholders along with our kids.
DCL had priced us out of another cruise so I reluctantly booked Royal Caribbean because they had kids sail free (western caribbean on freedom of the seas out of PC). When the new DCL itineraries came out with San Diego, we couldn't resist. NO airfare with young ones on a red eye?!?! I'll take it! Even though we are doing the B2B 2and 3 nights and the itinerary isn't so exciting, what matters to us is being back in DCL. I've been so happy beyond belief! Just wanted to share my excitement! By the way, how's Fran's arthritis?
