Boys at univeral for the day...girls need something to do?

I am sending hubby and son for the day to universal but I need something close that my 3 yr old daughter and I can do. Other than disney, that is.

Ideas??

Alas, all I can think of is...go to Universal with them. There are areas where she could have an absolute blast

And if you like to ride the bigger rides, the lovely thing about Universal is that the "rider switch" area (where the too-little kids and a parent go wait while others ride, and then the riders switch out) is actually near the ride seating area. There are some places where this wouldn't have been happy for my son, like in The Mummy's queue, but other rides it would have been fine.

There is things and rides for young kids at USO, the dinosaur area, the suess area, simpsons, for example. You both could go with the boys, but just have you two do your own schedule.

If you have a car, SW is about 20 minutes from USO. They have a small kid area with rides, and the animals and fish are fun for most toddlers.

Otherwise, there is miniature golf courses at citywalk, and all up and down I Drive. Maybe a pool day, and out to lunch at a place she can play at and some mini golf?

Indeed you could find plenty to occupy your 3 yo @ Universal but if you want to go solo that day...

1) why not add a day to existing WDW tix (usually just a few bucks more) and repeat the park your DD most enjoyed?

2) Character meal at one of the parks, good chance to rock her inner princess or pirate

3) pool day & DTD activities

4) SeaWorld

5) shop 'till you drop at the outlets

I like the idea of the outlet shopping or downtown Disney....are both fairly close by??
