Hello All,
Just confirmed and made payment for our cruise today. So, so HAPPY!
We are coming from Australia and this will be our second Fantasy Cruise.
We have 2 girls aged 7 and 9 (1 birthday celebration during the cruise ).
Please include us in the FE group.

I have spent the last couple hours researching gluten free restaurant choices in St.Maarten and I saw SO many beautiful photos. Can't wait!!

FE- I'll make a sign up as it gets a little closer, say at 6 months? I would recommend closing it about 30 days ahead. I'll make a spreadsheet with everyone's info, and I will email the link to the participants (some don't want their kids' names or cabin number easily available on the Dis).

When it gets time, I'll want the following information:
Names of everyone in the cabin
Ages of kids
Cabin number
Email address
Food allergies/special requests (such as gluten free, no alcohol, etc)

I'll also send out a map before the cruise with all the participating cabins highlighted, it makes finding some of the inside cabins much easier!

I'm already thinking of my gifts!

that's a good point. In the past I have had some issues with some people not wanting to close it until two weeks ahead!

Let's see how big the group is getting several months ahead. I was just on the NYE Fantasy, and our group was not very big- maybe 23 cabins? I think we only had one join in the weeks approaching the 30 day cut off. It was a sold out cruise though, so not a lot of opportunity for folks to add late.

If this cruise has GT rates though, there could definitely be a lot trying to add late, and it could be an issue.

True, on our last one we had a 'new' list for folks who joined after the cutoff date. That might be a possibility.
We cutoff 2 months out with 28 cabins for a 3 night on the Dream. Folks in the original group were welcome to be in both groups.
So many options out there lol

I think 30 days is a fair cut-off, or maybe slightly longer. Two weeks is way too close even without the holidays.

I'm ready to start planning them now, haha!

Happy friday! So excited to be cruising in january! Brainstorming FE gifts and warm beaches as we are expecting freezing rain this weekend. DH and i along with DD who will be 11 and THRILLED to be a tween clubber, DS 8 who will be celebrating #9 onboard, and DS who will be 7.

My family and I are looking forward to this vacation! 3 weeks, 2 weeks in Florida and 1 week cruise. We are planning on doing it all! I have already started thinking about the FE gifts... I can't wait!

I think that's an excellent idea - no reason to wait to start this up - that way we can get to know each other...............and see who's here too!

I have headed up quite a few FE's and would love to start this up - I've got a Google form all set up for this purpose, using one now to head up the EBPC in September, makes it super simple for all!

MrsJames- I have done research online and read DISboard threads about the excursions. Here is a good thread: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2873063 I decided to chill until later.

Yesterday I did submit a request to join the FB page but I really prefer to keep posts on the DIS. I don't use FB much and the FB page shuts out other DISers. I personally have read many cruise meet threads and know that many DISers not on our cruise will like to read our posts. Also, I chose DISboards and did not search FB for a cruise meet. It is just my personal preference. I love the DIS!
