We just did a room reservation at AoA Lion King Suite for May 21st - 28th. We'll wait to find a package when they come out around May or June. We needed to make sure we had a room reserved because I'm disabled and need specific things.

I'm going with my two daughters and my granddaughter (age 7) and we are doing the happy dance already! Lots of planning to do!

I forgot to add that this is our first trip to WDW. I've been to Disneyland many years ago, when I lived in the Los Angeles area, but not since it changed.

Yay! I'm so happy you could join us! My advice would be to take advantage of the Fast Passes, take your time and enjoy yourselves, and if you love pictures like I do, the Photopass+ is wonderful! You get the ride pictures as well as dining and regular photopass pictures.

I'll be there May 2015 too! I have 2 smaller trips coming this year but May will be our big family trip. We will be staying offsite at Sheraton Vistana but I might go down early and stay onsite for a day or 2. Not sure of the dates yet, but thinking the week of the 3rd.

So that is plan A

If the free dining is offered at a different date we will be going from:

Well before our family trip the past July I hadn't been to wdw for 15 years, and going back I just fell in love. I am calling this my year of Disney and trying to get as many trips in while I can. I wish I lived closer, I would be there all the time.

Planning our first family trip for May 1-9 2015! We're a family of 4 & the kids will be 5 & 6 at the time of the trip. Just bought our tickets at the old rate on Undercover Tourist this morning, I'm thinking there will be another increase before May '15 in addition to the one over the weekend so I'm glad we saved a bit there.

Here's my plan for booking everything else- any advice, suggestions, critiques are welcome: I'm working on accumulating enough Amtrak Rewards points to completely cover the Auto Train (with bedrooms!) there & back. I remember last year in the fall, a bunch of travel sites offered 10% cash back through Upromise (Expedia, Travelocity, etc.) We'd really like to stay at AoA in a LM room and it looks like there are never any discounts on those. I'm hoping to get an AoA LM room using a travel site offering 10% back through Upromise and get it booked before our 180 days so I can make ADRs.

It's still a bit away, but now that we bought tickets it's getting exciting!
