Getting ready for first cruise - 2 - make that 3 questions

1. I DVC and booked through DU on my Disney Visa. I know I will get some onboard credits, but have also read of DU and DVC gifts. Anyone know what to expect in there? Wondering if I can take some items off my packing list?

2. I am already thinking about the next cruise. Assuming the rest of 2015 is released a month before I cruise, can I book when fares open - then if booking onboard gives me a better deal - net any increase in fare - rebook while on board? Can I cancel the day before my cruise if fares look consistent and cabins available and then book it as a new booking onboard?

DD6 just woke up and also wants me to ask if Anna and Elsa are on the ships?

2) AFAIK, yes, you can book your next cruise, and then "reshop" it while onboard. If it comes out a better price to book onboard, they will help you with cancelling and rebooking. It won't make any difference if you cancel the day before your cruise and rebook onboard, or just do it onboard.

Some of the reports about Anna and Elsa say that they were going to be "returning home" after the Christmas cruises. But I've seen a couple of people say that Anna was onboard their January cruises.

Jet off the Magic and no Anna or Elsa. DVC gives little gifts each night but you have to go by their desk to get them. Also if you go to the members on board meeting will get a string pack, portfolio. If you are looking to add on points they give the best deals on board.

Anna was on the Fantasy on the Jan 18-25 cruise but not Elsa. Neither were on the Magic last week.

I think the DU gifts may change from time to time, but I believe they always have highlighters in the bag, and hand wipes/sanitizer, too.

Just off the Fantasy for the Jan 25 sailing and Anna was there. But I think she is leaving soon...
