the thing is, most of the food you're going to encounter is standard restaurant type food. You can easily find equivalents by using an app (figwee, fat secret, calorie king) or by the Calorie King book. Packaged items will have carb counts available. Things like pasta are always the same carb counts. Hamburger or hot dog rolls are always the same. But, also, a lot of the carb counting comes from deciding the serving size of foods, so it's difficult to make a list and have it be accurate for everyone. And carb counting can also be a bit personal. Some people deliberately count heavy, some light. Some account for protein and fat and some subtract for fiber. There's really no good way to do it for everyone, with restaurant food. I know it seems like an overwhelming issue for you right now, but it is something that you'll figure out quite easily. This list is a bit outdated, but it's a start if you need to start somewhere. But that's the thing, it seems like it would be a good idea but pretty quickly everyone realizes it's easy to just figure out on your own.
