It's time once again to sign up for the next round of the Pen Pal Letter & Twist Exchange. It is almost the ending of November, and I would usually post sign ups in December. But since it is the busy time of the year, I am putting together sign ups early.
If you are not familiar with this exchange, it is an exchange where you will get paired up with a pen pal, and each month you will write them a letter. Along with the letter, you will send them a twist. What is a twist? A twist is a little added gift that you will send to your pen pal. Each month, you will be given a topic of the month, and a twist of the month. The twist must be mailed along with your monthly letter. What is the topic of the month? The topic of the month is a topic that you will write about in each letter. For example- Tell your pen pal about your summer plans. Include the topic into your letter, and tell your pen pal anything else you wish to tell them.
This is a fun way to get to know fellow exchangers, and to receive something fun in the mail for the months of Feb., March, and April.
I have been asked if someone of you could continue to be pen pals. If you, and your pen pals would like to continue writing to each other, then let me know. This will also depend if we have enough participants to match up. But I will try my best.
If you join in, you MUST check in each week. Check ins are from Monday-Friday of each week. Just post on the thread that you are checking in, and review the thread. There might be a message on their for you. If you will be away during the exchange period, let me know ahead of time so that I know you are not Missing In Action. Like any other exchange, please ONLY sign up if you are able to follow through. The send by date for each month is the second Saturday of each month. I do give out the topic, and twist early so that you have enough time to write to your pen pal, and get your pen pals twist.
Sign ups for this round will be till Friday December 6th. I will put together names, and info. and will send them out to you either at the ending of December or starting of Jan. I need to be sure that all participants follow through on the current pen pal exchange, and will be able to then give everyone the topic, and twist for Feb. in which they can start writing, and sending towards the middle/ending of January.
