They have someone there to take your pictures with the tree.

Do they have the PP+ cards to hand out? this is the first place we are going is to have our Picture made in front of the tree. I have a PP+ voucher to exchange for a card.

Thought I would share our surprise view that we had from Room 7060 Nov 6-12 on our recent stay. The room was ready when we checked in around 2pm. Imagine our surprise when CM Mike walked us to our room and we found this:



We were pretty excited. We enjoyed our stay very much. This was our first time to stay at WL.

I would have liked for the conceirge to open a little earlier than 7am. We are a rope drop family and almost every morning there was extra magic hours at one of the parks, so it opened at 8am. We were scarfing down a little breakfast before heading to the bus or boat. Really enjoyed the coffee machine in there though!

Sam was our mousekeeper and was fabulous!! Cute towel animals almost every day. We left them there so they could recycle.

Mike is always full of surprises! What a great view and what a great first visit you had and I bet it won't be your last. In the future, if you do want to eat a CL breakfast before 0700, you can take items the day before from the lounge and put them in your room/fridge. For example, you could take some yogurt, milk, juice boxes, some bananas and apples. You could even take some cereal or OJ and put it in a styrofoam cup with a lid (they're in the drawer underneath the juice decanters). All these items will keep well for the next day.

Today is our single digit dance day - only 9 more days until we check in to the WL. We aren't going to do any packing until the day before we leave. I have Thanksgiving guests coming over, so that has first priority. I have the day after Thanksgiving off and we leave on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, so there is plenty of time.

We are planning a very relaxing trip. We have one breakfast and one dinner scheduled for Trail's End, with plans to walk to FW for that breakfast ADR and see the Christmas lights at the campground after the dinner ADR. We hope to do the lodge tour, too. The fp+'s are scheduled to match up with our evening ADR's, So we are all set to go. We can't wait.

Does anyone know if the Hidden Springs pool is open now? I love that pool and really hope it is warm enough to swim.

Last February I did have dinner at Artist Point as well...

I've requested a woods view, but I did so online so there was no place to put in a specific request. Is that something i can add to by just calling and referencing my confirmation number? I'm leaning at this point to the North Wing...

I was also curious, and forgive me if it's been asked, but does the north wing connect to the corresponding floor in the lobby? In other words, can you walk from the lobby rooms on say the 4th floor over to the end of the north wing rooms?

I've stayed at CR and absolutely loved the sunrises over Bay Lake, hoping to grab some great pictures! Speaking of pictures, I've posted a few of WL in the Hipstamatic Pictures thread over in the Theme Parks Community...check them out if you'd like!

Congratulations! WL is a great resort, and so many of us love it a lot. For room requests, you can call and add them to your reservation. That is how many of us request a specific wing, a location that opens to the lobby, or whether the balcony is open or enclosed. (As you've probably seen, the highest floor in any section of the resort has enclosed balconies that are recessed into the roof line, which doesn't give you as good of a view while seated.)

The 4th and higher floors connect across to the North wing. On the 2nd-3rd floors you have to go down to the 1st floor and take the ramp or go up to 4 to get across where Artist Point is. In the lobby section, there are only rooms on the 4th floor and higher.

Use the regular Disney reservations number that you book with. We use the 407 W DISNEY number, but any number that gets you to the central reservations office will work.

There hasn't been any refurbishment yet of the VWL studios or any of the villas except for a few here and there. And I think those were just mockups for potential changes.
