Awesome!!! My jealousy just crept up a notch or two.
I hope that was, indeed, the case. Hopefully this time will be much better.
Those are the fun park days. Just take your time and go with the flow.
You've talked about Via Napoli before? I don't seem to recall that...
NOt exactly a smilie, but I think it is appropriate for this situation...
My SiL got that same suitcase for DS for our trip last year. He loves that thing! Any time he goes anywhere and needs to take extra clothes he wants to take Lightning McQueen.
Happy Birthday to Paxton! It looks like it was a great party, despite the rain.
And a 3 year old boy can NEVER have too many trucks.
I am very hopeful that we will have a better time at 'Ohana this year! Fingers crossed...
I am sure I have mentioned Via Napoli somewhere in those old TR's... That Homer face is TOTALLY APPROPRIATE when it concerns Via Napoli pizza.
He is crazy about the suitcase too! Luckily I have his Lightning backpack which is much more practical for everyday use. Otherwise I'm sure he'd want to lug that suitcase to the grocery store too.
Thanks!
Yay for your trip getting so close!
I kinda of fell off here for a bit after getting back from our Sea World trip. But I am back in time to see you off
I cant believe Paxton is already 3, I remember reading your babymoon trip report lol. It really is crazy how quick they grow up. Its so sad for us mommy's to see our little ones lose their baby cheeks.
The party looked like it went really well. How neat that your neighborhood has a shelter for you all to use. Its a shame it rained, but it sounds like you didnt let it ruin the day.
I absolutely love Paxton's shirts. His birthday shirts are always the best. And the cake WOW! That is amazing. I enjoy playing around with cake making. I am in no way near that level but I hope someday
Your sign is also great. I need to get myself a cricuit!!
Welcome back! How was Sea World? I haven't been in so long, I think we will need to find a way to fit it in next trip.
It is definitely SO crazy. I was looking back at pictures from his first trip and thinking "Where did my baby go?!" It's so fun to watch him grow up and learn all kinds of new things and become more independent, but I totally miss those baby days.
It couldn't have worked out more perfect with the pavilion. Plenty of room for everyone, the playground for the kids, and shelter from the rain. I always have so much fun picking out his birthday shirts, I will be so sad when he is too big for them! But I guess by then I will have another one to buy birthday shirts from. They are from Stitcheroos if you are interested in one! They are also on Facebook and I won a free shirt from them just for liking all of their posts. They pick 2 people at random each week for a shirt. You don't get to pick the design you want, but when I won a few weeks ago they sent me a Mike Wazowski design!
I LOVE my Cricut! I got it for scrapbooking, mostly, but I have been able to use it for a lot of other things. I usually make gift tags for his teacher's Christmas gifts, last year I made little thank you cards for his cookie favors at his birthday party, etc. I bought a digital download of like 12 Disney Cricut cartridges, most of them are retired and hard to find. I think I paid like $250 for the whole thing, where just the Mickey font one that is retired and super rare can go for almost $100 on eBay! It's really fun. Especially because I am not super artistic, so I could never make that kind of stuff on my own.
Paxton's birthday party turned out great! I especially love the picture of him with all the Nestle Crunches in his hands, lol. The suitcase is super cute! We had Gavin's party at a park pavillion and loved it - we also had a rain issue but were safely covered until it passed. I'm glad everything went well.
Does Paxton understand you are going to Disney? You must all be so excited!
I think having 2 ADRs in one day might be stressful, but it's your last day in Disney so I think you'll be fine! Plus you don't know when you'll be back... sadface! live it up!
oh and I love the banner you made - very creative! Thanks to my trusty Silhouette Gavin will have awesome banners every year LOL.
That picture of him with the Crunch bars is one of my favorites too. He definitely knew which candy to go for when it all fell out of the pinata! I was really glad we had rented the pavilion instead of just having it outside at my house because then everyone would have had to pile inside for the rain and my house is not that big!
This is the first year Paxton has understood the "We're going to Disney" aspect of the planning and I am LOVING it! Every night after his bath, I take him to go pull down a Mickey head off of our countdown calendar and when I point to the last one, I ask him what happens when we get there and he says, "We go to Mickey's house!" He is really excited and he keeps talking about riding Small World and the train, going to the Halloween party, and flying on the airplane. It has been so fun looking forward to this trip with him understanding what's going on!
Thanks! I love that these machines can help me make super cute stuff because I have not one artistic bone in my body. I was actually going to buy a banner and when we were looking online, I didn't like ANY of them! I found a similar idea on Pinterest to what I made but the shape looked more like a shield. So I was super excited to go on my Cars cartridge and see the Route 66 signs! For my first attempt at a birthday banner, I was pretty proud. Although making that Lightning McQueen was a huge pain in the butt!
Single digits! That's so exciting!
Aw, Paxton's 3rd birthday looks like it was a hit! I love the picture of him with his Cars suitcase; he's ready to go!
He is SO ready to go, and it makes me even more excited that he understands what is going on this year and is excited about going! I'm actually going to start packing his clothes today while he is at daycare. Only 4 days left!!!
