Just off the Dream. It was awesome. Going to try do a trip report but just a few quick observations to share.
1. Board early. As early as you can. We boarded just after 11:30. By 1pm, we had ridden the Aqua Duck 3 times and eaten at Cabana's. We would have ridden a couple of more times but were distracted by everything.
2. Lifeguards were on duty at the pools.
3. Skip Atlantis Resort. If you are accustomed to Disney service and Disney properties, you will be disappointed. It was semi-clean, the park was confusing to navigate and the workers were not pleasant at all.We did Aquaventure at $169 per person. I experienced it and we had a good time but I would not pay $10 to do it again. It was booked through Disney but I would like them to remove it from the list of options.
4. Enjoy your room. The tvs have on demand movies. Every animated Disney movie. Every Pixar movie. Every live action disney movie. Pause and rewind. Absolutely amazing. I wish this option was available at WDW.
5. Absolutely amazing Disney service and touches everywhere you go.

We were on this cruise as well! Had a wonderful time. We felt the exact same way about the Atlantis - very disappointing. We thought we were the only ones to think this, but found out at dinner that many guests felt the same way. The grounds were in need of some major repairs.

Question - we noticed we had docked in the middle of the night on Tuesday - was there a medical emergency? Did we travel back to Nassau? I tried asking around but crew was tight-lipped and other guests didn't seem to have noticed (they slept through it).

We were on this cruise and the Captain made an announcement that a man had a medical emergency and we had to go back to Nassau. He also said that the man was currently in ICU at Doctor's Hospital in Nassau.

I'd love to hear more about your cruise. I'm still trying to get through my 1/6/13 trip report.

So I sort of started a trip report as soon as my wife and I got off the ship. Those were some things I didn't want to forget and thought it might help those about to set sail. Here is my official trip report. Never done one before so don't shoot me if it does not make sense

We arrived in Orlando a day early and spent that day at DHS. At lunch we told our server (50's Primetime Cafe) that we were headed out the next day on the Dream. During a fairly busy lunch, he sat down with us and told us all about the Dream and of his envy for us. He had just gotten off the ship a couple of weeks earlier. He gave us a ton of tips and info. Jokingly I asked if he had any FP's to Midway Mania and he came back in a couple of minutes with 2. He was an awesome server and was a reminder of what we go to Disney for. We enjoyed the rest of our day at DHS and capped it off with Fantasmic. Great way to start our trip!

We got up bright and early so that we could arrive at Port Canaveral around 10:00 our PAT was 10:30. A little about our cruise. My wife and I (no kids)sailed on the Dream for a 4 night Bahamian cruise. We were Itinerary C (Sea Day, Nassau, Castaway Cay). We were booked in stateroom 10056 in a Cat 5A.

So we arrive at the port around 10:00. http://www.flickr.com/photos/108807555@N07/10875066444/ This was our welcome as we got close. We found that the parking garage at the terminal was very convenient and reasonably priced (comparative to everything else for the next few days). We then waited in line to get into the terminal. We arrived in the terminal after minimal security around 10:40. Check-in was very painless and very fast. We looked around the terminal and decided to chill until our boarding group was called. We were boarding group 4. http://www.flickr.com/photos/108807555@N07/10875348854/As I said in my first post, we felt it to our benefit to board early and enjoy the empty ship. http://www.flickr.com/photos/108807555@N07/10875344364/ Boarding was quick and painless and we were on the ship by 11:40. We headed straight up to Deck 11, changed into our swimsuits and caught Aquaduck 4times in about 20 minutes (turns out we never were able to squeeze it in the rest of the trip).

http://www.flickr.com/photos/108807555@N07/10875525313/ We hit Cabanas after the Aquaduck and enjoyed a quick, uncrowded lunch. After lunch we strolled through the adult area and went to Senses. They were giving spa tours, so we took it. It was well worth our 15 minutes. We did enjoy a couple of spa "treatments", so the tour was very informative. By the time we were finished with our tour, it was 1:15. http://www.flickr.com/photos/108807555@N07/10875516834/So we headed down to our room to see if it was ready. It was, and our luggage had already been delivered. http://www.flickr.com/photos/108807...lickr.com/photos/108807555@N07/10875691423/So we took DISBoard advice and unpacked. Glad we did, great time to settle down and get familiar with our room.

Have to end here, hope to finish up Day 1 soon. Please tell me if I have posted pictures wrong. The preview shows links. Hopefully it will work

Great start! I couldn't get your first batch of pictures to come up, but the link to the Navigators worked great. Thanks for sharing!

I will see if I can't fix that. They are not spectacular pictures. I just hate reading trip reports without a few scattered throughout. Thanks
