Hugs right back at ya!

I really need to get my doc to revisit my thyroid levels properly. As for getting to the bottom of my issues, it's been years. There are so many uncommon auto immune disorders that no GP is equipped to identify nor really test for.

Oh yes...the whole thing is an ordeal that shouldn't HAVE to be an ordeal. I live in Dallas and see a GP in LUBBOCK (6 hrs away). It's kind of a long story- but he and his wife both have thyroid issues and she nearly died from hers. He did LOADS of research in order to get her the help she needed. He's not a voodoo doc or anything (LOL). He just doesn't blow my symptoms off and lets me keep my TSH where I actually FEEL good (today is an off day- I feel poopy-not literally. :rotfl2:).

Sorry for the :offtopic: posts. But to put it kind of back on-topic, I hope none of us have any flare-ups while we are in the parks pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:

Doesn't anyone like the YELLOW MB? Heck, the grey edge is dark enough to be considered black. hmmmmm......yellow....black......it's a Steelers MB!! I wonder if I wear mine during games if it might help them win one.

That's why I picked yellow for mine!! Here We Go!!!!!

I'm not glad you're irritated but glad you're sharing. My DD is super sensitive too. I am a bit as well so I'm getting ideas now on troubleshooting the MBs should fussing arise ;)

The shorter band sanded down with the tiny bandaid seems to be helping a lot. I put the cushion part of the bandais over the two holes that the nubs fit through so that they wouldn't be blocked. I still don't love the feeling of something on my wrist, but it is much better.

It is coming on ABC Family 10/19! If you get that channel, you have another shot!

Can you imagine how much radiation, chemicals and hormones our bodies must be being exposed to for so many people today to have thyroid issues?

Finally booked our flight home, so now we won't be stranded in Orlando.

Well that stinks ;)

I think my doc thinks I'm nuts and that I just sit around all day eating bonbons. Oh well, at least he lets me keep my TSH under 2 now and I've given up on finding out what my other issues are. He ran some basic autoimmune tests and nothing came up definitive.

Yes! Pixie dust all around!!

I'm going to see a naturopath this week (you know....voodoo a doctor....heehee). Hoping for a bit of a focus and to feel better soon :)

Just found this link.
Since I'm coming from 40's and 50's in November, I'll take this prediction.
Hopefully the whole showers and thunderstorm thing will disappear.

packing an umbrella just incase. ;)

Wow..the 2nd-7th looks amazing. Too bad we're not going til the 11th!

Last year, we had really good luck with the weather. Only got rained on once at HS (ironically, we plan on going there on the 13th this yr and that's the day they are showing rain LOL) and it was a brief downpour. However, it was unseasonably chilly our last few days. Lots of ppl were caught off guard. DH was one of them!

Haha! If I knew of a good one here, I'd probably do the same.

Good luck and I hope you get some answers.

Hmmm. Not sure how I feel about this.

In my dreams, I'm hoping for low humidity, sun or partly cloudy will do and 70.

I see rain day is the day I planned for the electric parade and wishes. Might have to whip up a plan B.

I'm gonna keep a watch and compare different forcasts before I zip the suitcase closed two days before I leave. I'm not feeling the need for shorts. Capri's look to be doable and the fleece jacket I'll need to get to the airport will come in handy. I'm not stressing over weather. It can all change before I get there.

I think I could have written your post regarding HS, rain and some unseasonable temps last time.

We are planning on HS on the Wed as well with MK at night. I might have to look at Plan B a bit more in depth ;)

Good plan :)

I've got our nifty rain ponchos from last time I'm throwing in as well. It's tradition ;)

We have an ADR at Hollywood and Vine that morning at 8:10. Was hoping to convince DS to sign up for Jedi Training Academy since we'd, for sure, be there at park opening. I hope, if it is going to rain, it is just a shower and then that's it!

It's our busiest day. Breakfast at Cape May, HS (leaving around 3 for nap time) and evening at MK for parade and Wishes.

I'll be tossing pixie dust into my suitcase beside those darn rain ponchos.

I don't think I'm going to put much stock in a weather forecast about 4 weeks from now. I'll wait until the week before we go to start stressing about the weather. I don't get cold easily so as long as it isn't 40 (or 90) degrees I will be fine.

I make plans/itineraries to alleviate stress (but am pretty cool about things changing during a trip). Weather is a thorn in my side ;)

However, weather makes me nervous. I reeeeeeay dislike being cold and hot. I'm a spring and fall kinda gal. I also dislike packing with a fiery passion. It's a recipe for an inappropriate grown-up freak out around here :P

I posted this before, but only Coconuts responded and she offered the exact opposite advice of what everyone said on the restaurant board. Now I'm confused. I need more input. Speak up people.

OK, I posted this in the restaurant thread, but I thought I'd ask here too:

Dinner at Chef Mickey's at 5:15 or Crystal Palace at 7:45? Which would you do?

We haven't eaten at either place. We are going to MK that morning and then probably taking a break for the afternoon before going back to the park for dinner and the evening so both locations work well.

MK is closing at 9:00PM that night and there is no MSEP. We really want to see Wishes since that will be our only chance to see them in the park (we will most likely see Holiday Wishes from the Poly Beach a few days before).

Obviously we will be cutting it close with the CP reservation at 7:45, but it is not during a busy day so we might be seated near our time, and I can always send the kids outside to see the fireworks with my husband or one of the grandparents (as long as they don't miss it I'm fine). Can you see the fireworks decently from outside the Crystal Palace?

The other character meals we have are breakfast at Ohana and dinner at Garden Grill so we will see some of the classic characters then.

I've heard some really bad things about Chef Mickey's, but I know my boys would like to eat in the Contemporary, plus we will have PP+. The timing might not be the best because it wouldn't give us much of an afternoon break before getting back (we are staying at OKW). My boys will be 13, 10 and almost 7 when we go. The 13 year old is a great sport and has no issues about dining with characters being babyish. The 10 year old enjoys everything about life and will totally go along with the whole character thing.

I'd love to get either place at 6-6:30, but that isn't happening this late in the game.

What would you choose and why?

Thanks.

I really hate being hot, but I very rarely get cold unless I have forgotten to take my thyroid meds and then I can't get warm. Fall is definitely my favorite time of year. Love the crisp nights and the smell of falling leaves.

We will probably swim as long as it is above 60 degrees and we would go in the hot tub as long as it is above 30 degrees. Have I mentioned that I love water? Only time I don't hurt is when I'm in it.

The only thing I'm not looking forward to with the iffy weather is having to have jackets for the kids.
