I think they are supposed to, they just haven't started a complete refurb yet and also didn't put any new design in the rooms. Maybe they are still fighting about how to update the theme. LOL. I think once they get all there ducks in a row they will switch to queens and update the theme. IMHO. Doesn't mean I know anything!

I thought they HAD started a complete refurb ??? No ? I know there were pics kicking around here of a refurbed room and speculation this was going to roll out for the resort.

Thanks for the pics! Looks like they are in the process of de-Nemo'ing the rooms.

Soon as the Nemo is gone, (or redone in a less Hokey manner) we are going to CBR. Love the look of the resort, hate the look of the rooms.

No, not yet. There were pics/links to pics floating around that turned out to be a mock-up room. So far, it is just the new white linens.

Just booked yesterday for 1/23-28th, staying in a standard room with my 6&9 year old boys. Haven't stayed on property since th 90s. What are some must do things for us? what building should i request? My boys love the hot tub...yeah i know they shouldn't...but I will allow a quick dip if possible. Where is that located?

Lots of great info and even more pictures.

What are some must do things for us?!

We always schedule at least 2 resort days to enjoy all CBR has to offer, we love it! Some of our "must dos"

Check out the nightly campfire and roast some marshmallows
Check out the nightly poolside movie
Rent a surrey bike and explore the resort
Grab a drink from the Banana Cabana and watch the higher Illuminations fireworks from a hammock on one of the beaches
Take a nap in a hammock
Take a sunset/sunrise walk around the lake

what building should i request?

We like Jamaica 45 and Aruba 51, with Jamaica 45 being our favorite. They are both ~ 5 minute walk over the bridge to OPR and the Main Pool. We prefer Jamaica because there's just something about the bright yellow buildings that screams The Caribbean!
