Let me say that this had to be the worst trip ever. I believed I had planned for everything but the one thing I didn't.
It started out great. We left Sept. 21 at 6 a.m. to Birmingham, Alabama. The drive was quick and easy. We arrived in Birmingham on time and found our hotel quickly. It was an extended stay and a mighty nice one too.
It was in a nice area in Cahaba area in Birmingham. We ate dinner at the Fox and the Hound and spent the evening at the hotel relaxing.
On the 22, we left early and grabbed breakfast at Mcdonalds and headed out on the road. That's when we realized how long it was going to be. It was quite a way to Kissimmee.
Finally, I see the welcome to Florida sign! I am so excited! The closer we got to Orlando, the closer the sky clouded up. Then, it opened up in a flood. My mom was texting me constantly "Are you there yet?"
We get to Kissimmee and find our hotel, Champions World Resort. It didn't look like much from the outside, but it was really nice from the inside. The room had a microwave, refrigerator, tv, nice bed, and everything we needed. There were several pools and it was located on a drive near many restaurants.
We ate at CiCi's the first night because we didn't feel like driving anymore and chilled out for the night.
The next day, SeaWorld and the best day of the whole trip.
