Be Our Guest Lunch Fastpass

I tried this but it will only let me reserve up until the end of this week. I'm traveling the second week in November.

Sounds like your reservation is not linked for November, Did you have an earlier trip?
 
I tried entering my resort reservation ID, but it wouldn't accept the letters. Without the letters it's not an accepted number. Help?:confused3

Go to your reservation on MDE and click Make Payment. In the URL there will be a numeric reservation number usually like 432########

That is the number to enter. Good Luck!
 
Unsuccessful attempt for BOG lunch reservations

I followed all of the advice, went to beourguestlunch.disney.go.com. Put in my yellow luggage tag #, selected my times. It looked like it was successful, but no reservation number. I then went to MDE web site to check if the reservation would show in my plans, but guess what? I was now unable to log in. The error message kept telling me either my password or username was incorrect. I then had to call IT. I explained to them what I had done. They had no explanation of why my user name would no longer work, but had to do a reset on my MDE account. I was then able to log in using my password, but now NONE of my reservations, ADR's, or FP+ are showing! Just as if I had no plans. Back on the phone to IT. New password set up. Long story short ( too late for that, I know) the cast member said that Be Our Guest lunch reservations is in a testing period, that the only way to get one is to be invited via an email from Disney. She said folks are being turned away that went the route I did because they do not really have reservations. Given all of the glitches I went through today, I think I will just take my chances on waiting for a spot at BOG for lunch. Whew.

So this same exact thing just happened to me tonight. I was searching google like crazy for someone with the same experience. I'm nervous my entire itinerary is lost. It's too late at night now to call their IT but I will in the morning. Once they reset your password and everything, was everything back in your MDE itinerary?? We leave for WDW in 12 days with our daughter. I would hate for some glitch to screw with any of our reservations, especially the princess castle breakfasts. Hope they can fix it. So nervous now.
Please let me know if they got your info back on your acct.

5DisneyNuts has the right advice. There is a difference between your resort reservation number (which is all numeric) and your Walt Disney Travel Company confirmation number (which contains letters). You can manipulate My Disney Experience to find the resort ID. Another spot I see that ID number is in the customize Magic Bands section.
 
My trip starts in 11 days & I haven't been able to make a FP+ reservation for BOG. :-( After I enter my information, I get a message in red saying, "Guest is already registered." I haven't been able to select a date or time. Has anyone else had this issue?

Ask at the resort if they can make the reservation for you.. Disney IT won't help you here as they are treating this as a very limited test it seems.

You can also try to create another MDE account that worked for me.

Just logged in and got BOG FP+ for lunch on 11/24 at 2:05. Can't wait to tell DD after school!

What's the difference between the choices they give you on the FP site? (I believe it said expedited and something else ... )

Sorry if it's been asked, I scanned the last few pages quickly and didn't see anything.
 
Just logged in and got BOG FP+ for lunch on 11/24 at 2:05. Can't wait to tell DD after school!

Same thing just happened to me - I was so excited, but worried after what you and pp had mentioned about this happening. Couldn't believe it when I went to sign back in to MDE and they could not locate my acct. Did you call the number they give for assistance or was there a special on for IT? I realized I also didn't write down a confirmation no. or print so don't know if it will even be honored?

I wonder why this is happening to some.:confused: Hope you get it straighten out. Stressful.

scary thing is that this has happened to a number of people spread out over the multiple threads on BOG Lunch FP.I made my ressies, printed them out just in case and will not go back into the site. I did understand that the link was only supposed to be by invitation and people started posting the link on the DIS for others to use. But who would think it could mess up your account like that?

Thanks for the info. The more I think about it, it doesn't make sense why another valid website, part of the Disney family, which I had to sign into with my valid login, and clearly had my trip dates asking when I wanted my FP, would inactivate my account?! I know I didn't get an invitation, but you'd think the invite would have a special code, and you couldn't access w/o it. After being on hold last night for HOURS to make changes I needed before my 45 day mark(which I cannot choose to do online) and now this, I am not feeling very "magical"!

I wanted to report back that I got everything fixed after 2 calls to IT. On the first call a very nice IT had me go back into a screen to update info/add security questions, and said he saw all my reservations still there. However, when I got logged back in, it said no reservations were linked to my account, so I called back and got a girl who told me the problem was that I had multiple accts. - I was surprised because I only have this one, but she revealed I had three under my email, including DD's game site (probably Club Penguin). So it had me linked to one of those, so I had to change my password, and now she had this one signified as my primary. She said it should not happen again.

Of course, I am still fearful to go back to BOG site(I did not mention this to IT), but I am so curious if my reservation is listed there, and I could get a print out. I may just wait to see if it does get moved to MDE. Interestingly, the first tech mentioned that I shouldn't rush to do magic bands and FP+, as my resort was just coming online now. Sorry for the long explanation, but hopefully it's good info. if anyone else has to encounter it.
 
FYI --- I logged in today and seem to be able to make a FP+ selection up until 11/30.

I am still waiting for Dec 1st to open up. But I am just happy to now see FP+ time selections pop up when I select a day. Before it would just say "No FastPasses available. Please select another day"

Great to know! I've tried a few times and kept getting told there were no dates available, but was able to grab one on 11/26 just a few minutes ago. I guess the dates hadn't opened up yet.

Ok. Call me an idiot but I have a question to ask you. Did you guys get an email inviting you to get a fastpass for BOG? If not, how do you get around it? I tried signing on to that link but it only says that I'm registered and doesn't get me to the next page. I tried calling my resort but they forwarded me to Disney Dining and nobody can help. Can somebody PLEASE help me? Thanks!:coffee:
