So I had to upgrade to Poly CL...

It was the only way I could get a discount on TPV room...

So can I get some CL experiences/thoughts/etc?

Thanks!

Poor thing, such a strain.

In other news: CONGRATULATIONS!! :cool1::banana::cool1::banana:

I don't know about CL yet, but I am thinking it's totally awesome. Enjoy!!

Lol- I know... it's a hardship. ;)

My DD has food allergies, so we never even consider CL on any vacation. But she wants her castle view (and so do I!) and TPV CL is cheaper than TPV rack rate!

In this case, her allergies might make for more magic. I bet the Concierge will provide her with some goodies. Perhaps even custom made items brought to your room. Accommodating you is what CL is all about.

Smart girl you've got there, rocking the discount for the full luxury vacation.

Now that's an upgrade! :goodvibes

The Poly's CL is ranked #2 for me, right behind the Grand's RPC (which, in all honesty, nothing can compare to). When we've done CL we've always booked a suite in Tonga as we've needed more room than a standard room provides. As for the KKC itself I have no complaints. The food offerings were always plentiful with a large selection, and even my picky eater always found something to please her palate. I'm vary happy that POG juice is offered in the mornings as I could easily drink a gallon of it. In the evening more often than not we found selections of the dinner menu at 'Ohana, and again I was thrilled because it's one of our favorite restaurants.

Make sure to take advantage of the itinerary team. When we stay CL, I tend to make our "less important" ADRs and let concierge book our harder to get ones. Upon booking I simply send an e-mail with our ADR requests and the dates/times we're looking for. If we're celebrating something I make sure to include that too.

Once you stay CL, you're hooked. My pocketbook however only lets us do so once every year or every other year.

We stayed in the Hawaii Bldg. 3rd floor. It was a nice room, facing the MK. we loved the Poly, and the room. The snacks were nice, and it was convenient to have the concierge handle a few things. Otherwise, I think its a lot of money for little return.

Love the Poly CL!! Nothing like an easy breakfast on the way to the parks, snacks all day, and yummy apps like sushi at dinner time! Not to mention all the water, juice, and beer! They even re-filled water bottles for us to take to the park! Yeah! Enjoy!!

Wait... how do you get a discount on a TPV room by UPGRADING to a CL? Was it cheaper to just get the CL room?

Same with the GF RPV - It was great to be able to grab some snacks and drinks on the way back to the room... but I don't think it was worth the extra cost, especially when I had every meal ADR'd.
(Now if you have kids and are staying for more than 3 days, especially with a few off days not in the parks and just staying at the resort then it'd probably be worth it.)

Room only discount wasn't available on TPV non-CL room... but was on TPV CL. So it's cheaper- but only slightly...

Thanks! Was this with the 35% discount offer they're currently doing? If so... hmmmmm (he said stroking his chin...) :hyper:

Yep! RO discount-- about $800 cheaper than regular TPV. Hopefully the chef can take of my DD too- if we're staying CL, I'd like to make use of the food offerings!
