Were your customised MB waiting for you at check inn?

We are going in 2 days. We just received an email from Disney the other day saying our bands would be at the resort. We used our home address (not the resort address).
 
If I'm not mistaken, they should waiting at the resort. I think I read somewhere that they don't ship the MB to Canada anyway......

Apparently its a problem for the RFID to go through security. I don't personally see the problem, if they can go through the mail within the USA I don't see why they couldn't go through border security from the US to Canada. I don't think the mail goes through airports :confused3
 
Checked inn this morning, customized MB, were in deed waiting for us, isn,t that cool or what. With on ligne check inn our room was ready when we arrive at 7:30this morning. Web unpacked the car and got to Epcot for 9:05. Fp worked very good with the MB. Only advice, even if you linked a PIN to your MB ask to verify it at check inn, mine was not working so when I try to pay for our QSC meal I had to use my KTTW. When I got back at the resort I did a new Pin.

Were your MB's in the cool looking box that we see all our American Disney fanatics get? Or are they just loose?

Sorry to jump in on this thread, but for my fellow Canadians who have tested MBs, do you recall if your MDE ever changed from personalize MBs and the "could ship at any time" message?

I personalized ours weeks ago, but status has not changed and today I got a reminder email to customize. (This was not the invite email, got that a while ago.)

I had the very same problem when I tested last month. Our status never changed on our mb's until a few days before our trip. We had customized them about a month before.

Same problem this trip. We are heading to AofA in less then two weeks. I customized our new bands three to four weeks ago. No change in our status yet though.

The good news is that our bands were waiting for us when we arrived at Pop last month and I feel certain that our bands will be waiting for us at AofA in a few weeks. :)

I bet you'll get your bands too when you arrive, regardless of your status. :goodvibes

BTW....are you checking your status on the MDE app or the regular website?

Ours were waiting for us at AKL. No issues with them. Our park tickets from undercover tourist were all linked up like the app indicated and we went right to the parks and used our fast pass + without any issues and without having to do anything more at check-in

Glad to hear this. Hope it works the same way for us ... Wasn't able to call today as got busy with other things. I have been using the website, haven't checked the app recently. (Maybe I should though.)

Just to let you know, I received yet another invitation today to test the magic bands after customizing them over three weeks ago. I think it's my third invitation this month. I never did receive an invitation for the August test.

The app says my bands are ready to customize while the regular website says my bands are customized, but it's not too late to customize. :rotfl2:

I called today after work. I'm DVC so my invitation and reminder instructed me to call the regular DVC number if I had questions. The CM was able to verify that she could see my customizations on her end, but commented that my mde might never switch from the "hurry up" message. She seemed confident that the bands would be at our resort, but did say I could call back over the weekend to check if their end was showing that the bands had shipped to the resort.

Finally today, on the website it says that our bands have been shipped to our resort. We are checking in on Friday.

For now you just need to be staying at one of the test resorts to get the Magicbands. So far they haven't made any announcements about when passholders or guests not staying on property will get the MB's. But everyone will eventually get them. :goodvibes
