Graycliff Chocolatier

I am on your cruise also. I have already booked the tour. It's chocolate, so I figure it can't be too bad.

My dh and I went to the Graycliff Chocolatier excursion in August. We had a great time and definitely recommend it.

We did this last month and it was wonderful! It's a small "factory" and you leave with a generous amount of chocolates that you make in a beautiful wooden box :) We had Kevanna as our tour guide. Definitely worth the time and money for sure! :thumbsup2

We did this in August and had a great time. We brought home so much chocolate. We had Kiki as our guide, and she was awesome and so much fun. Highly recommend it.

Do you tip anyone or is it just the cost of the excursion? If you do tip, how much? We have this booked for our cruise and don't want to get it wrong.

We did tip our guide a couple bucks but not everyone did. Same with the driver who drove us to and from the bus stop. :)

I'm doing this on the oct 24th dream cruise. if anyone else is on my cruise, please let me know! i'm going solo on this excursion because DH will be diving in nassau. i figure he'll need to taste some chocolate, so him not being there will give me a good excuse to bring some back to the ship, right?!?!? :lmao:

I've seen a couple reviews on this that say it is a great excursion and that you even get to make your own chocolate. It's already booked for my 12/14 cruise but I have seen other reviews that suggest you can do the tour/tasting/making not on an excursion too. I shot them an email tonight to see if that is the case. It's really close to Watlings so I think a rum factory tour and tasting and chocolate tour and tasting are definitely on the list of things to do.

Jedijill & kerrymommy -- are you planning to do anything else on Nassau? I understand for the chocolate tour we leave the ship at about 10:45 and return at about 1:45 unless you want to venture out on your own. Right now I think we will come back right after so I can eat on the ship.

Sent from me.

I'm probably going to head back to the ship. Nassau doesn't thrill me as much as the ship does. :)

We are planning on heading back to the ship also. Might have to take a nap after all that chocolate.
