Dining rotation/Pirates night

Sorry, I tried and couldn't find this information -- how do we find out what rotation we're on for the 11/17 Dream 4-night, and how do we know what night to book Palo given that they moved Pirate's night to the 2nd night (Nassau). I had this all figured out and then just went to check something on my res to see that Pirate's night had moved from 3rd night (CC) to 2nd night (Nassau). We've done a bunch of cruises so wouldn't miss a restaurant but our family going with has never done Disney and I want to make sure they don't miss a thing!

I would try to book brunch at Palo, then your family won't have to miss dinner at the MDR.

Meanwhile, if you are able to book Palo at night, it would be easier to go to "dining changes" and switch to a different rotation if it conflicts with your reservations.

Or you could call DCL and "request" a rotation, but they won't guarantee it. They usually don't tell you what rotation you have before you get your KTTW card.

You can also book a time at Palo opposite your dining time (if you have early dinner seating, book Palo for 8:00 or later, and, if you have late dinner seating, book Palo for 5:30-6:00). That way, you can "visit" your MDR for that evening and enjoy it, but be sure to point out to your servers that you are dining at Palo later (or you ate there earlier) so they won't be upset when you don't order anything.

how did find out that they changed pirates to second night? Where did you see that? I thought it was always on 3rd night on the 4 day.

It was posted on the Cruise Plans page online for our cruise. When I booked Palo, it was for the 3rd night (doing Remy brunch on the at sea day). I guess I will just leave it there and see what happens ... we have a spa appt. earlier that day so can't do the early shift (got couples choice!!).
