Just back from an 11 day 10 night stay at AS Music. Arrived at 9:30 am room was ready
Fridge - was one in the room that was disconnected with a big note on it. DH went down and asked for a fridge or the $15 / night credit. He was very clear we wanted the fridge but would take the credit. Polite but firm. The guy said he'd "see what he could do". He promised to text us with an update.
No text arrived by the time we were coming back from the parks so we stopped by the main building to eat and check on the fridge situation. He talked to someone else (female) and explained the situation to her. She said she would see what she could do.....and said if they couldn't get us a fridge they would give us the credit.
We ate in the Food Court and headed back to the room to find a FRIDGE! Cold and everything - score!
About an hour later we got a knock on the door - Mousekeeping with another fridge. So obviously the first (male) CM had gotten us a fridge but hadn't logged it in or texted us. Then 2nd CM (female) also got us a fridge.
Naturally we explained to the mousekeeper we already had one and thanked her. So fridges do exist and you can get them but you do have to ask and have a bunch of pixie dust!
We never ate in the Food Court for breakfast or lunch but ate there most nights for dinner (we like to come back and swim/ play pool games and eat there then have an early night). It was never crowded for us - I would say the "crowds" were the same as a normal stay with one exception. It was this past Monday (9/23) the day we refer to as 'bring your canoe to work day'. It bucketed I mean heavy downpour for over 6 hours that day starting around 1 pm. We didn't have any trouble getting our food and finding a table but when we were leaving (around 7 pm?) there were lines to get food and to check out and people were searching for tables (tables were available but mostly towards the back). That was the only day we had a crowd and honestly it wasn't surprising that many people had decided to give up on the parks and head back to the resort.
Pools were not crowded with 'extra' Sports visitors. It was a great stay!
