I just read your ENTIRE trip report! First of all your DD is fabulous and adorable! I loved reading all her commentary! 2nd if I wasn't convinced before, I am now to cruise to Alaska!! Great job!!

How awesome that the room service CM remembered you-and that Willow loves chocolate! The service on DCL really does sound outstanding.

The last day on the cruise sounds about as nice as a last day can be. Vancouver looks pretty that's one of my bucket list cities. Just have to get me on a plane...

Vancouver is a beautiful city, which is cracking me up right now because in replying to you I just realized that I typed Vancouver in my update, and of course, we visited Victoria! And that may be an even more beautiful city! I haven't been to either in decades, but they are both really nice! Need to correct that last day now......

*sigh* It was really sad to say good-bye to this report, but I am super-excited to get everyone's thoughts and advice on our next trip. There is a lot of time to plan and change things up, so it will be fun to get the input of all you great DIS'ers!

Poor Willow....why should she have to leave "her" cruise ship & "her" Doulson? That's just not right.

I was going to start the PTR tonight - just for you! But a colleague was here from Portland, so I ended up going out to dinner with her. Too tired now to write up the start of the PTR. TOMORROW for sure!!!

Thank you so much for this trip report. I wondered if an Alaska cruise would be fun for kids, and if the kids' clubs on the smaller Disney ships were fun enough to be worth it for our family. But your TR really reasurred me. I think we're homing in on an Alaska cruise in the summer of 2014 when our youngest is old enough to go to the kids' clubs. Thanks for sharing so much of your trip!

Hmmmm..... so you're taking another cruise????!!! 10 days, 14 days?? Lucky you!!! Can't wait to jump on the pre-trip report to see what you have actually decided to do.

I had to come over here and read this report. I really enjoyed it!! I would love to do a Disney cruise some day and the Alaskan cruise seems like it would be more relaxing than the Caribbean.

Oh man!! That would have been great!! If you are planning to visit Vancouver we are only going to be there for one day- Aug 10th- before we board. So it would be a VERY quick visit, lol!
