My husband and I are going to WDW the end of Feb. for 9 days. What table service restaurants should we eat at and is California Grille worth eating at to see the fireworks?

It's worth it to eat at the California Grill without the fireworks. We have been twice to watch the fireworks from there. It's less crowded but you lose perspective from there. I think the fireworks look best from in front of Cinderella's Castle. However if you've never seen them from the CR roof you might think differently.

Our favorite TS restaurants:

O'hana @ the Polynesian (we don't go to Disney without eating here)

Hollywood & Vine @ Hollywood Studios (great breakfast and dinner buffets--do the Fantasmic dining package!)

Yak & Yeti & Animal Kingdom ( we always do lunch here on our AK days)

Coral Reef @ Epcot (amazing food and really cool dining experience)

Paradiso 37 @ Downtown Disney (an accidental discovery on our last trip...so much we wanted to try! Great appetizers)

San Angel Inn @ World Showcase (great Mexican)

Cape May Cafe @ Beach Club (amazing seafood buffet)

I really like California Grill (albeit I haven't been to it since it re-opened) and it's worth going. However, you mentioned you're on the DDP and very few Signature venues are economically "worth it" when on the DDP. The problem is that they take two credits per person. This is roughly how I break down the DDP:
$17.50 QS Credit (entree, drink, and dessert, on average, with tax)
$4 Snack Credit
$37.50 TS Credit
So for a 2TS venue to be economically efficient, you'll need to spend at least $75 per person (including tax or $70.50 pre-tax). Assuming a drink is $3 and a dessert is $12, then you'll need an entree that about $55.50 to break about even).

Other venues that I do like (when considering the DDP) are:
'Ohana (dinner)
Les Chefs de France (dinner)
Via Napoli (all day menu)
Raglan Road
Akershus (dinner - the food was okay, but it's a good use of a credit from an economic stand point)
Fantasmic Dining Package (same cost as the non-package, but you get an appetizer at MM and HBD)

It is not worth spending 2 credits per person on the California Grill if all you are interested in is seeing the fireworks.

We loved on regular DP:

Tutto Italia--Epcot (sang Happy Anniverary in Italian)ate here twice
San Angel--Epcot--had one of the best meals of the week--Romantic
Ohana--Breakfast or Dinner
Via Napoli--love the pizza

My Sister was on DDXP and loved:
Hollywood & Vine
CG

We love Kona cafe(breakfast), The Wave has a great breakfast buffet but also does ala cart. Via Napoli(great pizza) Trails End in the campground has some of the best fried chicken on property and they have a great breakfast buffet too only a short boat ride from the mk. This trip our new choices are The grand floridian cafe and mama melrose in Hollywood Studios and the Rose and Crown pub.

Thank you all for all the advice. I have made more reservations with all the recommendations. I am thinking of cancelling the California Grille, but still have time.
