I'm gonna need some caffeine in a few hours......omg. :scared1: No idea what happened but boy, that'll wake you up from a deep sleep!! :crazy2:

Wow! That sucks. We're on the BWI side & thankfully it was all quiet last night. Hope ya'll still have a great day. Maybe with throw a nap in there if possible. :)

Here at the bwi also...right above cat Cora. I did notice some police right down below at about 5:00 am.

Glad it was quiet over at the BWI side! We still don't know what set it off.... we'll go investigate after we have some breakfast. Loudest noise I think I had ever heard.:eek::eek:

That happened to us last month at the Grand Californian in Disneyland, but not 3:30am! It was closer to 7am, which also isn't great because I was getting our family of five ready for rope drop! The other element is that, because the Grand Californian is adjacent Downtown Disney, many of us were out in Downtown Disney in pjs. :)

I meant to add this to my earlier post . . . our boys were asking what caused the alarm at GCH, and I said that it could be a number of things, like an issue in the restaurant kitchen or guest room toaster use. Sure enough, a CM confirmed for us that it was guest room toaster. Ugh!

They should hose down the perpetrator for making toast on the dark setting at 3:30am!

We had that happen at Beach club a few years ago at about the same time. It was insanely loud. Although it was really loud it was hard to wake up our child. Very funnny to see everyone in the back of Beach Club in their pjs. Afterwards I realized I was so disoriented and just thinking about getting out that I realized I did not bring my purse with me. Glad it was nothing and we were able to get back in our rooms.

That is awful!!! Hope all goes well for you over there tonight:thumbsup2

This also happened to us while staying Animal Kingdom Lodge Concierge. They evacuated all in front of the building about 1 am.

Oh no, sorry that happened to you! We had the same thing happen at a non-Disney hotel once. It is kind of funny seeing all your fellow hotel neighbors standing around outside in pj's.

So I guess I do need to buy those cute red and white pjs I saw today. Thanks for the excuse to go shopping. :lmao:

I think I would get kicked out of Disney if I was behind Beach Club or in DTD in California in my PJ's....

At least it didn't turn into a 5-alarm blaze.

I've had that happen at non-Disney hotels. Once was in Niagara Falls where someone had hung clothing from the sprinkler even though all rooms had little stickers by the sprinkler saying not to do that.

The other time was while staying at a cabin in Custer State Park near Mount Rushmore. The alarm went off in the middle of the night because the electricity went off. After realizing there was not fire, I drove to the main office to find out what was going on. The guy running the place said he couldn't turn them off and that, "the good Lord must not have wanted to you sleep tonight." Believe it or not, my kids and I fell back to sleep with the alarm blaring (pillow over our heads) and woke up when it eventually went off.

Happened to us Dearborn MI some moron pulled the fire alarm and ran around the place in his birthday suit to relive his college-days prank. They caught him red um handed.

This happened to us while in Pittsburg. We were on the 15th floor and the alarm went off at 2 am. We had to walk down 15 flights of stairs carrying my ds 4. We found out while outside that the other room on our floor had a big party a fight broke out so instead of calling security, they pulled the fire alarm.
We watched security lead them back up get all their stuff and were escorted off the property.,
