Hi All!:goodvibes

So I booked our room at MCO for the night before the cruise. Are we no longer able to check in for the cruise at the Disney terminal on the lower level before we board DCL bus the port???

I will be so sad !!!

That stopped a while ago. Everyone must check in at the port now. Unless you are concierge or platinum be sure to select a PAT since your boarding number will be directly linked to that.

Yep....it was only a test phase at the airport and for whatever reason they did away with it. It was very convenient but it is still not bad checking in at the port. I agree to picking a lower PAT and getting on one of the first buses to the port from MCO.

ok thank you,

so just to clarify...now I need to pick a Port Arrival Time
And I should pick the earliest on available

And I will do this when I check in online at 90 days out??

Yes, you select your PAT when you do online check-in. For Silver CC members that is 90 days out.

As to what time...that's up to you. What time to you actually expect to arrive at MCO? Or are you staying overnight at the Hyatt or other hotel? By riding DCL transfers, you will be allowed to enter the terminal regardless of your PAT, but as PP mentioned your actual boarding number is directly tied to the PAT. But if you are on a flight arriving at MCO at 11am, there's really no reason to take an early PAT because there's virtually no chance you'll arrive that early. If you are staying at the Hyatt or have an early arrival, therefore expecting to get on the first bus from MCO to port, go ahead and grab the earliest PAT you can.

Enjoy your cruise!

yes we are arriving the day before and staying overnight at the Hyatt MCO, then taking DCL transportation to the port in the am

and we are silver, so I hope those few extra days will afford us an early PAT, therefore early boarding time, did I get that all right???
TIA for confirmation!!!!!

You have it correct.

Though early PATs can be available even at the 75-day mark for newbies. We got one and I didn't even check-in until late that day. Availability depends on many factors -- how full is the cruise, how many CC members cruising, how many passengers want to arrive early (some with later flights or arriving from WDW have no need for a 10:30am or even 11:00am PAT. So it really can vary by cruise.

great! Thank you for all of the very helpful insight, I really appreciate it!!:cheer2:
