Hello, Everyone!! Thanks for joining in with me on this Pre-Dining Review for 7 days of Disney Dining. Today is my 21 day mark, and what better way to get ready than to share my excitement with you all
Let me introduce myself! I am a 27 year old Disney nut who found the World in 2009. It was love at first sight!!! I love all things Disney and have since a wee child. My traveling buddy DisSis (25) and I have been fortunate enough to go to our happy place a *few* times over the past few years, and are crazy excited to be staying at our dream Resort: The Wilderness Lodge.
Planning a Disney trip is half the fun and planning your Disney meals is a huge part of that! There is nothing like mickey shaped food (it's a known fact that it tastes better) and the Disney treats found within the Disney bubble make a vacation all the more awesome.
We have had the DDP the past few trips, but this time took advantage of a RO discount. I'm actually very excited to not be tied to the dining plan credits. I noticed that we were eating to use the credits and werent even hungry. You can't enjoy the yumminess that way! Plus now we can eat what we want and when we want, like appetizers instead of entrees and stuff not on the plan (like corn dogs and those cute caramel apples!) Stay tuned at the end of my report for a DP/No DP comparison.
As for Disney food, I've found that most of it is good, some of it amazing, and very rarely is it totally yuck (think the pumpkin funnel cake of '12, aka the edible candle ). I'll be honest in my reporting, and hope that I can help you with your own dining choices. I'm not a huge meat eater, but love burgers, have a huge sweet tooth, and love breakfast food. For this review I've decided to use a ratings system with some of my favorite Disney characters.
For the Crème de le Crème of Dining Choices, I will present you with this guy:
He's about to tear up at the deliciousness that is this dish!
For the Not to be Missed:
Tiana would totally serve this at her restaurant!
For the Pretty Good, but not a Must-Do:
He's hungry and will eat anything as long as it tastes good
For the Very Mediocre:
Kinda a waste of calories, but not inedible
And Finally,
For the Please Dont Waste Your Money:
You have been Warned: Do Not Eat!
Thanks for joining in on my dining adventures
