We leave for my parents house in 3 days, and arrive in Disney at 4... I'm still debating things even though we are getting to crunch time. We have the regular DDP.

Day 1:
QS - Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe
QS - Riverside Mill Food Court
Snack - Aloha Isle

Day 2:
QS - Jambon Beurre or Kabuki Cafe
QS - Tangerinie Cafe or Sunshine Seasons
Snack -Kringla Bakeri og Cafe

Day 3:
TS - 50's Prime Time Cafe (OOP)
TS - Be Our Guest (DDP)
Snack - Starring Rolls Cafe

Day 4:
QS - Flametree BBQ
TS - Hollywood & Vine (Fantasmic Dinner Package) (DDP)

Day 5:
Keys to the Kingdom Tour (lunch provided)
TS - Le Cellier (2x DDP)
Snack - Epcot

Day 6:
Snack - Main Street Bakery
QS - Be Our Guest
TS - California Grill (2x DDP)

Day 7:
TS - Boma (OOP)
Not scheduled - lunch OOP

We use: 6/6 QS, and since we have 2-2credit dinners, we are paying for the breakfast at Boma and our lunch at 50's prime time cafe out of pocket.

We end up eating at DHS twice, on different days, once for the Fantasmic Dinner Package, and once for lunch because our ADR at BOG is 8:45pm.

Honestly, at this point, I am kind of wishing I had paid to upgrade to the DxDP I wouldn't feel like I had to calculate everything to the nth degree (and the extra snacks would be good to bring surprises home for the kids) Because as I understand it, you get 3x6=18 meals and right now with our CS/TS plan above we are using 14/18 meals (including the ones we have already planned to pay OOP). the other 4 meals could be for lunch our last day, and 3 breakfasts. And we'd have another 12 snacks to spread around...

The upgrade costs $532.... If I mention any of this to DH he will probably explode at me for overthinking it.. buuut.... :cool1:

Those three meals and breakfasts won't come to nearly $500, but you would also be getting apps at all your meals which is a lot of food.

One suggestion for you, though is to use at least one person's DDP credits at all your a la carte places and pay OOP for the one at those where you don't have enough credits. For instance...Le Cellier, use one person's DDP credits and share the dessert, pay OOP for the other and you could get an app to share and another entrée for less than the two credits are worth.

I think I might do the same at CA Grill.

Disney allows you to be a party of 2 and only use 1 person's dining credits?

That might help - I would have to look at the number's though. But that is a bit confusing to me...

YES, you can definitely use one person's credits and pay OOP for the other anywhere, but it makes most sense at a la carte places. One thing that might help is knowing how much the credits are "worth." Each TS meal is worth around $37-38. So if one of you wants a cheaper entrée and you're okay with sharing a dessert, it makes sense to use credits for one meal and pay OOP for the other.

But if both of you are wanting the expensive steak dinner and your own dessert, then both should use credits.

Take a look at the menus and see what you think you will eat.

Oh, and if you look at it as having a total of 12 TS credits to use for the two of you, then it may be less confusing.

A great example for my family would be using DDP at the Brown Derby (2 credit pp) for DH and ordering a Cobb salad entree OOP at $15 for me. Totally enough for the two of us to share and not burn 2 credits and the OOP is small!

We'll probably do something similar at Le Cellier.

HTH,

Rose

OH, ok. So you get 12 TS credits to use and ANY person on the plan can use them? So, I could use 2 TS credits at Le Cellier on Sat night and "save" the 2 credits from my Husband's DDP, and then use them Monday at Boma for both of us?
