EEyorelover22 - right !! anything 100 and over is hot in my books. :beach:

candizfan - Sorry about the movers.. I bet when you were finished with them on the phone, they had nightmares. :thumbsup2 You know, your right.. next time I had better stop and then take the picture.

mkymouse4ever - WOW!! DD and I watch the show periodically and we think it's a Hoot!! We missed it because we were watching Duck Dynasty that night. That would have been great to be able to see it live. I would have been shaking in my chair during the show. :crazy2:

Go ahead and start packing - I think we all start very early and don't post it.:lmao:

EE22 - nice goal! :thumbsup2

I could sure use a dose of the Mouse to reduce my stress level! But I will see Mickey on the cruise in March. :cool1:

Hi Guys !!! :goodvibes
Well, we finally finished UN-packing and putting things away:laundy:...now I have Ironing to do for-EVER !! Im gonna wait until it`s raining here, so I won`t feel badly about staying in to do this chore !! ugh :crazy2:

Hope everyone had a great Labor day weekend, the malls here were crazy packed with back to school shoppers, one gal in macys told me it was as bad as Christmas !! NO thank you, I waited to go until after the labor day sales
Its been cool here, tonight is in the 60`s.....
O M G RHMH- that`s......H O T !:scared1:....hope its cooled down some in your neck of the woods by now !! :goodvibes

Candi- Wow, so sorry about DD`s things not getting to her !! that`s awful :worried: Much good luck to her this year !!:tinker::tinker:

MKY- I was just saying to DH that I really rather not do a split stay anymore (not that that`s possible because the kids usually come down on the second week and we need a one bedroom)....Im sorry about the latest AP rates being so bad, and you have to check out and in so many times...but try to insist that you just change keys and not have to change your room at least !!

EE22- Good Luck to the Kiddos this year at college !!:tinker::tinker:

OK so, Happy weekend and Happy Planning everyone !! :grouphug:

Hiya everyone, :yay:

TP2, Wow, you guys where busy. It is probably just us > but I always felt us/ioa felt more like our six flags here than wdw. :confused3 Must of been all the giant roller coasters. [which we do not do].
Glad the girls had fun. Sounds like seaworld beats US/IOA.
How was your weather. Hope the rain has stopped. Ugh.

Hotter than Hades here now. :scared1: Humid and muggy.
Great for my asthma. :rolleyes2

So has school started yet? Finally here they have. Yes, so in about a week > we are hoping our census at work to pick up. We where very low all summer. But, usually pick up with kids mixing germs. :hyper:

Now, we are all looking towards are next trips. Hmmm, day dreaming of 2014.

Happy Planning, mky :cutie:

MKY: Totally agree about the Six Flags thing. Not sure if I mentioned it here but I know for sure I did mention it someplace. If you have to compare, I would compare Universal to Six Flags not Universal to Disney. I believe it goes back to the background music, smells, shows, attention to detail. Univ was clean and all. We had fun. But there was no extra sparkle.

School starts here on Monday. It was a late summer but all sports started. It has been pretty insane because teachers have had meetings all week yet kids needed to be at school for sports practices. I would use my lunch hour to run kids where they needed to go. Needless to say this summer has left me in need of a vacation.:rolleyes2 I guess that happens when the kids go to college! For now I need one of these to get through the day.:moped:

Hello Everyone - Hope everyone has a great weekend and Labor Day Monday !! :cool1:

Please stay out of the heat. :wave2:

Doctor Bob says to drink plenty of fluids and wear some kind of hat if you are out in the heat for extended periods of time. :beach:

Look how hot it is in Fort Worth Texas with the heat index yesterday!! :crazy2: I know, I know - Why am I driving at the speed of 60 and taking a picture.....?????.....!!!!! Sorry everyone, I do not have the habit of doing this sort of stuff.

:scared::crazy2::scared::crazy2:

Next time take the picture at a traffic light! We enjoy your company here.::yes::

Tomar: I feel better knowing that I am not the only one that is not completely unpacked. Explain why I can unpack on vacation under an hour but at home it takes weeks.

EE22: I am not sure how you have gotten through all these years of sports. This summer was one big car ride from one sporting event and practice to the next. The last two weeks of summer were double sessions...8-11am and 5-8pm. Talk about killing the day. I so need a break from the sports and I know it is only going to get worse in the next couple of weeks. School starts Monday...I think that will finally give me a break from the running.

Hope all is well with everyone.

Candi: I am not ready for that day...and adding the moving trouble to all of it is just:crazy2:

Evening everyone, :wave2:

TP2, :rotfl: You are too funny. :) Wow, they are just going back to school. That is late. Nice to have them home a little thou after you trip.
Don't feel bad >> I still have stuff on my floor in the back pack from July. :lmao: At this point I am leaving it in place to take in October.
Now, when does the oldest DD start to drive??? That might help with the running around. [here it is 16 yr old.]

Starting to think > since none of us did HS sports we really made it easy for our parents. ;)

Candi, that is alot of worry. popcorn:: But, hoping things are straighten out now. Hard for her to be so far away. How long is that drive from you?

EE22, Hope things are settling down on your scene now too. Way toooooo much moving around.

Tomar, I agree. I plan to give my biggest disney smile and ask to NOT be moved. If that doesn't work > next move "sorry, that is not acceptable" till I get a good reason for making us move. Which will be returned with > Now, I work in a hospital I know how much it cost our hospital to "turn" around a room. And it would be in your best interest Not to move us.....
** I did once have the Polynesian tell me you have to move>> when I continued the conversation he explained "your in a bigger room and we want to give that to a bigger party". Quick on my feet I returned with >> but all your rooms are equal. I paid for this view > I am keeping the room. There should be NO difference in rooms. Each category should be equal. .......
I didn't move after all. Just got to remember to smile. :flower3: ;)

I do hate split stays and since we use the owners locker boxes I have not. Just too much to move. I know disney can move the stuff > just don't like them too > your waiting on their time line then. But, I do kinda miss being over by BC / YC.

RHMH, football starts tommorrow. I am guessing your not a BEARS fan? ;)

Your right, that is the right thing to do!! Thanks, love this group.:thumbsup2

Evening everyone, :wave2:

RHMH, football starts tommorrow. I am guessing your not a BEARS fan? ;)

mky princess:

You may laugh at this, :lmao: I have never been a sport fan of any kind. I played Golf before Midori was born and have not played since. :goodvibes If a group of people start talking about Stat's, Players, Contracts and Strategies - I am totally lost...:confused3

I can say I am a fan of Midori's School Volleyball and Basketball Team only because Midori plays for the School :cheer2:- that is all the sports I come in contact with.

I know - your saying a Man not into sports is uncommon. Your not normal Bob :rotfl2:I can tell you all about the Disney Channel if anyone asks. :lmao:

Edit - Had to share this with you... Midori and her Friends wanted me to come over to Tatum's house and make a couple of Music videos. Here are the links - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v9t8NAMXaSk ------ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v3UY-9Z-9Ko

It makes the years go by fast to retirement that's all I know!!:thumbsup2

Hi All,
Hope everyone had a good weekend. I'm looking forward to work so I can rest up tomorrow:thumbsup2

I think it will take me till Thanksgiving to get the house sorted out again:rotfl:

Even with the summer gone by we still aren't under 100 days:badpc:

Good luck packing mky!!

:wave2: Hiya everyone! :wave2:

RHMH, Your a riot! :rotfl: Well, we are the opposite of you. :) Watch football, baseball, basketball,.... & even helped him work on cars. :confused3 We never had any brother's so he had to make due with 3 daughter's. :upsidedow

EE22, Yes, you have earned a break! Try to rest up this week.
We had a great weekend too. Shopped till we dropped at oakbrook & yorktown. The rest of the time just hung around here.
It's back to work tommorrow. Hoping it picked up some.

Congrat's on the 100! ;)

Have a great week all! mky princess:

:

O M G TP2- Im hysterical !!:lmao::lmao:....DH and I were having this very discussion the other night !! Its incredible how I can even get a grocery order in our villa, put those things away, unpack, shower and redress, and be ready for dinner on vacation in a flash, but, Im still lollygagging with these clothes since August 21st when we got home !! UGH ! :lmao: You are sooooooooo right !:goodvibes

MKY- You go Girl !!:thumbsup2 You have it all figured out how to stay in one room !! As long as we don`t have to change the size of the accommodation, we`ve only changed keys down the years as well

Speaking of Sports.....Football started today, so I cannot get my DS on the phone for more time then "a commerical", and I know why !!!!! :rolleyes1

Hope everyone had a great weekend !! :grouphug:

Hiya everyone, :yay:

Tomar, I hear that. Bug and I are contemplating Disneyland in 2015 and looking at some early guide books > we know nothing.
Our last trip there was 1985. and california adventure was not even opened or disneyland downtown either. It is so foreign. We will see if this happens. Waiting till then > cause cannot justify having an ap at wdw and not using them.
We even looked into going there this october > and just keep our tix as vouchures. But, it was too close to work out all the details. We also want to go primetime late august or sept? Looks like good weather but we are unsure. I didn't want to see DL dressed for halloween or xmas before we see it in its normal state. :rotfl: This is toooooooooooo complicated.

Hoping Dear EE22, will be my portal of information.

Hope all are dreaming disney thoughts. I just got home after 7pm from work and my car was reading outside temp 91 degrees and it was already dark out. :scared1: Ugh. Think summer is coming to an end.

mky :wizard:

You're on mky!:thumbsup2
A friend of mine just took a road trip out there too so she might have some great tips. Her DD goes to school somewhere very close to DL.

I just hate that it's getting dark so early and it's dark when I get up too!

Happy Planning!! Things at WDW have changed a lot and it's not the same old hat trying to plan for this next trip:scared1:

Hey EE22,

I know you have stayed in a lot of downtown hotels in chicago > and I know some but we always stay in the hyatt or marriott.
I have gotten tix to the phantom of the opera in January and thinking it will be late and probably cold as anything in late january > we might stay over nite. Any suggestions?

thanks, mky

Good idea to spend the night! I've always wanted to see that.
I love, love the music.
Sent a couple places we stayed.
The one is a gold mine as it has FREE parking:thumbsup2
I'm not sure how far they are from where your going though.
